Just getting around to writing this review a year later! We had The Buzz make a cake for our gender reveal party last summer and it was absolute perfection. We ordered the orange creamsicle flavor and it tasted so yummy! All our guests raved about the cake. They followed my inspiration photos to a T and we are so happy with the result. Highly recommend The Buzz for all your events!!

The baked goods are amazing! Especially the scones. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Plus, they have gluten free baked good options. Even though you won’t find “cozy” seats to sit in at length, the vibe is so fun and pleasant there, that you’ll still want to linger.

Finding a local bakery that felt comfortable with LGBTIA+ weddings was important to us. The Buzz exceeded our expectations, making us feel welcome and going above and beyond to make our special day even more amazing.
Our cake was a lemon masterpiece filled with lemon curd and raspberry filling. It was beautifully decorated with buttercream frosting, sugared rosemary, and candied lemon peels, giving it an elegant and unique touch. The cake itself was moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced – just the right mix of sweet and tangy. Every bite was made from scratch, and it showed.
Wedding cakes are often more about appearance than taste, but not this one. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it, and we’re still talking about how delicious it was! The Buzz truly made our celebration unforgettable.
We highly recommend them for anyone looking for a wedding cake that’s as stunning as it is delicious!

This place is an absolute delight and now a regular part of our breakfasts. We all love to see what scones are on the horizon each week and the coffee is consistently excellent. Their baked oatmeal was revelatory. Plus everyone is incredibly nice and helpful.

I came here after seeing reviews. The place is amazing I just wish they were open longer than 3pm! They offer so many desserts and creations they also bake cakes! They also have many coffee creations too! The bakers they work hard and come in early in the morning to prepare. They also sell photography, on their wall. They also are closely connected to their community on their board. The woman there also told me she changes her menu every month so if you come once a month you can try all their uniqueness when it comes to bakery. Come see what the buzz is about!!!

I’ve been visiting The Buzz on a regular basis for several years now. It is one of my favorite places for great food, snacks, and coffee in this area. The cafe is a warm and welcoming place that makes you feel comfortable as you take in the artwork and enjoy a special small-town experience that is always a respite from the rest of the world. Thank you for continuing to make the world a more delicious and lovely place. Make sure you try their scones, oatmeal square, strata, coffees, and rotating themed menu specials.

*** Update – stopped in for breakfast/lunch, the coffee was so very very good! *** I love this place! The Buzz cafe was recommended to me by friends with excellent taste, and the relaxing back road drive to Monrovia makes going for breakfast and lunch even more special. The coffee arrived steaming hot and smelling great wit a little pitcher of cream. The caramel scone was amazing! A perfect pair with coffee, somehow both light and satisfying with every bite. Our food was gorgeous to look at and delicious to eat. Everyone was content and full so we ordered our desserts to go (I am so looking forward to opening that box of treats at the end of the day). What a great time, I wish we had gone sooner!

Wonderful place to stop for a snack or coffee/tea. Great selection of baked goods including cookies, bars, scones and gluten free items too! Variety of bread is also available as well as a large selection of coffee and tea options. There are a few tables inside for those who can’t wait to get home to have their treats/drinks. If you want to see their full selection of bakes goods make sure you get there early as they do sell out of items.
