Honey Bee Bakery opened in Nov 2015 and we’ve been the go to for homemade goodies, cakes and cookies ever since! All of our recipes are baked from scratch using family recipes and the highest quality ingredients. We offer a Vegan Takeover Wednesday, where everything in our case in made without animal products. I think this might be the second time I’ve ever done a review online in my entire life, but I just wanna say What a great job honeybee did on a very special cake I ordered. My 18-year-old daughter just graduated from the US Army airborne school right before the holidays. We are so proud of her and I wanted to get her something special. They hit a grand slam! The cutest bakery in Medina by far!! This place is such a gem and I always stop in here when I’m in the square. The cakes and pastries are so beautiful and delicious and they have so many great drink choices too.

I can’t begin to say enough good things about this little bakery. One, they’re inclusive by having vegan and gluten free items. As someone with a dairy allergy, this is heaven sent! I always find things for my husband, but it’s difficult to get myself a little treat at times because of no DF options.
Honey Bee Bakery is beyond adorable in aesthetics. They have a large picture window, table, bookshelf, and chairs you can sit and people watch. It’s also in Medina Commons so there’s extra tables and chairs right outside the shop.
Customer service? Stellar. Friendly, helpful, even asked if I wanted my husband’s normal sweets separated from my DF sweets. Now that is a respectful shop! Prices were very, very reasonable for what you get.
I got my husband a buckeye bar and lemon bar. For myself, two vegan brownies and a churro muffin. Haven’t tried the muffin yet. However, I do recommend splitting a vegan brownie 4 ways. It’s so thick and decadent I’m still nibbling on my first one. Heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds, and it just melts in your mouth.
10/10 definitely coming back here again! It also seems you can pre-order cakes and they take great pride in high quality.

I wanted this specific look for this cake, based off another cake that I saw online. I asked them to stay as ‘homemade’ as possible, as other renditions of the cake seemed to ‘clean-cut.’ They happily obliged and I am so happy with what I got.
When I picked up my cake, I saw their skills on display with the cakes they had in the displays. They were beautiful! I tried their honey lavender macaron and I loved it.
It tastes amazing, the cake itself is moist and lovely. Thank you Honey Bee Bakery for making my silly birthday cake a reality! 🙂

Stopped in mid-day on a Saturday while visiting town. Will never go back. Spent a fortune for the low quality. Dry, hard, old tasting banana cake, chocolate cheesecake, and cookie. No flavor in any of it, with super sweet thick disgusting icing. The coffee was incredibly watered down. Not worth it.

I really enjoyed my visit here and will likely return to try different items. On this day I just got an iced cookie and a butterscotch steamer. The pastries were a bit expensive, but it was absolutely worth it—my cookie was super cute and DELICIOUS. My drink was done very fast and the workers were friendly. Lots of gluten free options, and I believe they also had vegan options. They seemed very accommodating. If you’re in the square, don’t pass it up.

I ordered my son’s 25th Birthday Cake here. I wanted a special cake and searched for places near me that could make it. I spoke with Honey Bee Bakery and placed my order. I wanted a specific cake, decorated a certain way and I wanted it to look good. Not only did the cake look perfect, but I was blown away by the taste! I’ve had decent cakes before but never this good, the texture and flavor were so good and the icing was perfect too, it wasn’t too sweet and was the perfect consistency.

Stopped in here for the first time today. What a great local bakery. I had a cappuccino and some macaroons. Both were very yummy. The staff is super friendly and quick. It’s great to have local business like this around. Very happy to support them.

Was in town for my daughter’s birthday and we got lucky finding a Grinch cake! And the right flavor too (funfetti). It’s a little pricey compared to what I’m used to at bakeries near home, but it was worth it. My daughter, her friends and I loved it! ❤️
