Very peaceful and relaxing. After about an hour the place started filling up with people coming off the lake. I loved it. And everyone I met was friendly.♥️ We will be back. We are selling our 9 acres in Golden Acres off Wendy Lane which is about 1/4 mile from lake. Buck Naked Bar is about 5 minutes away in case you need to use their dock for your boat. Property is listed on realtor dot com.

Cool place to hang out, great owners and wonderful food! We finally got to eat so I’m updating my review for food too. Had the spicy chicken sandwich, curly fries and bucksauce , and the bucklicious chef salad with the chicken tossed in wing sauce. Delicious and will definitely be eating here again!

I gave service 4 stars because my bf had to flag the server down a couple times to get fresh drinks as they tend to have long spaces of time between coming by the table.
Very good atmosphere and food. Definitely worth the wait. The long island ice tea was strong but delicious.
I know the waits between the server coming by after you order food is designed to have you order more, so we weren’t really bothered.
The karaoke was good and added a comfortable country vibe to the air.

Stopped in while we were in that neck of the woods and had a mighty fine Mushroom and Swiss for lunch. Prices were about normal. Very friendly staff, great service. It is a bar but we went around 1 pm and was kid friendly. If I’m up that way again will stop 8n again

An old school bar and grill on the lake, amazing view and very friendly staff. The quality of the food was great and they were very attentive about drink refills.
Prices are a bit high, but match what you would expect from any lake front business in the area.
A blast from the past, they definitely smoke in the bar quite a bit. So if that’s something you’re offended by, might want to skip.
Overall a great experience, we probably cant go often due to the price tag, but definitely plan to return.

We had an injured severely injured friend yesterday – we raced to Buck Naked for help – the new owner (Theresa) allows us to park and tie up her gas pump area and she jumped in to take control of what could have been a fatal situation. Additional her staff attendant who manages the gas pump (Noah) jumped in as well and help guide the EMT’s to Buck Naked to help our friend.
We cannot begin to express our gratitude to Teresa and Noah for helping us save our friends life.
They had a deck full of customers and she sacrificed her time to help us.
There was also a Dr. Pickett who practices at Excelsior Springs Hospital, wheeled his boat in who equally helped consult and care from our friend.
Thank you all very much for turning what could have been a grave situation into a life saving story.

Omg!!! I can’t rave about this place enough! Ugh the food was outstanding, the wait staff were incredibly personable, the cook came out to make sure we were satisfied. The view was breathtaking, parking was limited, but we made it work. Definitely get yourself some fried mushrooms!
