I stopped by Himitsu Teriyaki for takeout and ordered the stir‑fry vegetables with chicken, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The veggies were crisp and well‑seasoned, the chicken was tender, and the portion size was generous. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavors came together beautifully.

We ordered 2 combination meals and a side order of the 10-piece Gyoza and were sooo happy with our food and service!! The young man who took our order at the counter gave me excellent service and the young making making the California Roll was very friendly and both young men provided a very inviting and extremely great experience. My go to lunch spot. Staff and owner are courteous and prompt with their service. The food is always delicious and affordable, you really can’t go wrong with this place. The lunch specials are killer. If you get the chicken fried rice, be prepared to have delicious leftovers. In fact, I think I’ll place an order right now.

This place has absolutely fabulous chicken teriyaki. The chicken is so tender and it’s a really large portion and the sauce is the absolute perfect teriyaki.
With the chicken teriyaki, you get two scoops of perfect rice and a creamy crunchy Japanese salad, the combo of those three things is pure heaven. We’ve had the beef teriyaki as well, but the chicken is where it’s at. I’ve never eaten anything else from here, but the service is lovely and if you call in 15-20 minutes in advance, you can pick the goods up easy. It makes for the perfect beach or picnic meal.

I can never rank it all the way in the atmosphere department because just a teriyaki shop,however my employee forgot his lunch and we went there service was fast food was hot.
The portion was good and they had lunch specials which is awesome! I never went there due to the bad reviews but the new ownership apparently doing the job correctly.

You be the judge here should there be an equal amount of cabbage in the lomein or is that fluff also ive dined many restaurants is it normal to have to de tail the shrimp in lomein because i did the math and it only takes 30 cents to de tail barely half dozen shrimp im sure that things could always be better anywhere but as o bit into the food i realized there isnt any love in this product i sit here wondering why didnt i just make this for myself i could have done it right on my own its a sad experience i used to eat here alot im not that enthusiastic anymore…….. if management reads this word to the wise thin cut your cabbage it will make for better presentation digestion and chewing for the older poeple also use a little less of it i think you might use it to extend the product instead of flavor enhancement as well spend the time to detail the srimp in an entre that is meant to be consumed directly as a main dish ….. it will be alot more edible look and taste better and show your customers that you care more about their overall experience ……… i learned from this today to put more care into what i do ….btw the meal wasnt a total loss the flavor of the beef terriyaki is 4 stars sorry though nothing was 5 stars in my opinion and im being kind bexause i was livid when i opened the leaking bag and bit into the shrimp tail connected to a dry tough shrimp

This has to be one of the best teriyaki spots in the Seattle area. Their teriyaki always has the perfect amount of char and their sauce is on the thicker and richer side(my preference).
After moving to the area and trying it for the first time, I find myself here almost weekly for a quick dinner fix. Their fried rice, yakisoba and katsu are all also worth trying. They also have well prices lunch specials available during weekday lunch.

I have been going to Himitsu since 2012 whenever i want teriyaki since they make it so well. Over the past year or so, it seems like something has changed and the meat is getting overcooked. I usually get chicken teriyaki which in the past has been made with dark meat. Now it seems to be made with chicken breast or meat cut too thin, because it ends up being so overcooked and dry that no amount of sauce can save it. I tried switching to pork teriyaki instead to see if that would be a fattier cut of meat, but it turned out to be thin cut pork chop with no fat, cooked to the consistency of wood chips. I understand ingredients are getting expensive but id rather get a smaller portion of meat that is cut and cooked perfectly like it used to be, than the same amount of meat cut into insanely thin pieces that overcook too fast. I also noticed the side salad is now made with cabbage instead of iceberg lettuce, which doesnt soak up the dressing as well. Maybe a thinner junienne on the cabbage would help?

I ordered online and the very polite girl up front did their printer glitched and didn’t print the order so they didn’t know I had ordered. She said it would be 15 to 20 minutes. Ok, so things happen and I’ll wait. Came back in after about 10 minutes and sat down while she took a new order. A few minutes later that order was ready while I still wait. I asked how that order could be ready when I’m still waiting (now 25 minutes later) and she said she didn’t know, the chef just put food out and she filled orders. Really poor service. Go somewhere else.
Ok, so two more orders were ready before mine. Unbelievable.
