For drinks, we tried the smoked old-fashioned as well as regular old-fashioned. Both tasty and I recommend them both.
For appetizers, we had the pimento cheese stuffed mushrooms. We also had the crab spring rolls. The mushrooms were the highlight of the night and so flavorful.
For dinner, I had there surf and turf special with a side salad , shrimp and the chef mac & cheese. All of it was really delicious.
Lastly for dessert we all shared the pumpkin pie because we were so full from everything else. Everyone loved it!
My issue was with our server. There were a total of 3 tables, a couple next to us enjoyed ALL the service my waitress had to give, introductions, laugh, recommendations, etc.
.
Meanwhile we didn’t get an introduction, waited a bit over 15 minutes to take the order (mind you again only 3 tables including us), walked outside several times, couldn’t find her for the check.
We had way more interaction with the person clearing our table than the server.
The table next to us shared skin color with our server, we did not. Take that as you will.
.
The food was absolutely DELICIOUS tho.
Walked in and was greeted warmly by the hostess.
Waiter (Bradley) came over to us almost immediately . Introduced himself and asked if he could get us something to drink and was quick to return with them and answer any questions we had about the Valentines day specials and the menu.
He was very helpful and provided great customer service.
Appetizer (Chips and queso) came out in a timely manner but the main course came out not 5 min later . So everything really felt rushed.
I got the surf & Turf & Angela got the 7 oz filet with French onion soup.
Our steaks and sides were average at best.
1st impression : I’d rate it a 5 out of 10.
For the price , $140 including tip , definitely not anywhere I would want to come back to or recommend to friends.
For the money, there are other steak houses that are better in every aspect.
WAS the first time. Went back and can now confidently say I will not go back!!! Steak and service was horrible. More than one roll is an additional $1. Server sucked and was complaining of recent changes as well!
