Went here for the first time. The restaurant from inside is fun, the service was great and food was decent and delicious.

Ordered burritos, Quesadillas, and fajitas. The server was very friendly with all the special requests we had with our order. Also the menu is very reasonably priced. You can feel the authenticity as well.

Will come back.

I got the burrito ranchero and my choice of meat was asada. It was really good, the sauce was so good and I loved that they had spicier salsa options. My daughter wasn’t feeling too well, so she decided on the caldo de albondigas. This dish was lacking flavor, some seasoning in the caldo it self or the albondigas would of gone a long way.
Their decor is SO BEAUTIFUL I love everything Catrina, which is why I choice this spot.

Stopped by for breakfast before our tour of Morro Bay. First thing, I was very impressed with the decor. Restaurant was extremely clean and very well decorated. The staff was super friendly. When it comes to the food, they have a great combination of traditional dishes as well as some new takes on old classics. I recommend this as a stop if you are in Morro Bacy.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Had chorizo eggs, my cousin had chilaquilles. Service was just okay. The coffee was yummy. Food average. Atmosphere nice.

First time being at this establishment. The chiliquilles were just ok, my family really liked the omelet, the menudo was good except for the one with cow feet. The cow feet should of been cooked a little longer so it could of been more tender. The real reason for low score is them sneaking on gratuity. They charged us 19% I can understand if you have a big party or it is out on menu or signage which they did not do. A $20 tip is ok if I wanted to give one, shouldn’t be forced to give one. It is safe to say, my family will not be returning to this establishment again.

So, got to check out La Katrina’s several months ago & now back again! Will say, the food is good & I’ve yet to have anything bad from all the plates I’ve ordered. From Chile Relleno, Enchiladas, Taco, Burritos & so on. I will say that the Chile Relleno was my least favorite, but did like it. Was a little hard, almost like it was pulled too soon.

All in all: Friendly service, quick, nice atmosphere & good food! Has been a steady go to of mine.

Well worth the visit!

I just got back from my trip to Mexico so my expectations weren’t very high for having great Mexican food. I was pleasantly surprised. The menudo was really good and flavorful. You even get a choice if you want to add pata to it. My husband had the chilaquiles and he loved them. My son who has Autism had the rice which he loved (he usually only likes my rice). Service was great and ambiance made you feel like you were in Mexico. We just need some Champurrado and some cafe de la olla. I will definitely be back.

The chips and salsa and guacamole are very good. The beans and rice are good. The shrimp dish was not great but ok. The tamale was ok, and the soft taco was also decent.
The service was great and the atmosphere was fine.

Highly recommend!!! They are more than willing to accommodate large groups and did a fantastic job serving our very large group of about 60 people. Food was delicious and the service was great. Got so many positive comments from my parents ans students for choosing the restaurant. Restaurant is locally owned! Owner is great and supports community so please support this restaurant.
