Drove 45 minutes to try this place out. Restaurant is kinda hidden. Park in parking garage, they validate parking. Food was really good, it didn’t disappoint. Fish and shrimp was crunchy and flavorful. The Mac n cheese wasn’t esthetically pleasing but it was delicious and I’m personally not a fan of Mac n cheese. Fried chicken was perfect, crunchy and juicy. The jambalaya was extremely flavorful and so was the greens. Only thing negative I would say is I wasn’t a fan of the red beans and rice, it wasn’t bad, just wasn’t great. A little too much juice for my liking.

The service was great! Our server was very nice and informative of the whole menu since it was our first time. Good to maybe 10-15 minutes to come out. She checked on us throughout our dining experience.

The price is great for the food we got.

We will be back. 9/10

CC’s on Central. Let’s start by saying, WOW! Totally exceeded all expectations! Comfort food prepared with pure LOVE!!

If Soul Food is something that you enjoy. Well, this is the place to dine when in Phoenix. The Jambalaya was by far the best I ever had! My family enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits, Red Beans & Rice, Fried Shrimp, Mac & Cheese and Collards Greens. Everything was great and Ms. Sharon provided more than enough to eat.

Awesome place!

We had a really great time visiting establishment. Everything was great tasting. I’m not a catfish person but I ate it and was cooked to profection. Fried chicken was on point. Red and Blue velvet cake were amazing. I didn’t taste anything that wasn’t good. CC you need more foot traffic more people can be CCed. Thanks Lil sis for finding this place. When i come to Phoenix I will be going back to CC on central. What a blessing to have good food and get to speak to the host, the chief, and the owner on the first. Great first impression, I’m sure if you stop by and get CCed. Thank you Cecilia for sharing your amazing food with us.

I was super excited to finally give this place a try, as there’s not too many soul food places here in AZ.

I was highly disappointed! The shrimp was overcooked and it was very salty. I couldn’t believe that the cook looked at them and still served them! The fried fish wasn’t that great, Mac & cheese was ok, and the greens had way too many stem pieces in them. My hubby said that his fried chicken was mediocre, yams were too mushy and he said the rice and gravy was decent. The worst thing was the honey biscuit oh, and one individual hot link is $6!

Overall, it was just disappointing and I feel like we wasted $96 on food! Worst feeling ever is to waste money on food that you don’t enjoy!

A friend suggested CC’s and I’m so glad we went. I started scrolling through reviews to figure out what to order on the way. The Breakfast Burrito kept popping up, so I went for it—and let me tell you, it was everything. The house-made chicken sausage, soft scrambled eggs, crispy hash brown, melty cheese, and fire-roasted salsa? Absolute perfection. I took one bite and literally had to pause because I was not ready for how good it was. Hands down, one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had.

My boyfriend got the Shrimp & Grits, and he was just as obsessed. Creamy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

Long story short—our friend was right. The reviews were right. If you’re thinking about coming here, do it.

If you’re looking for a soul food experience that feels like you’re sitting at your family’s kitchen table, you need to check out this gem of a restaurant run by a dynamic mother and son duo, Sharon and Devan. I love my mom dukes home-cooked meals. Here at CC’s, you can only match their friendly service. Their menu brings back the flavors, starting with my most favorite plate of grits—creamy, smooth, and full of flavor and cheese. The beef hot links are smacking with my breakfast, complemented by fresh eggs cooked to your liking and hearty home potatoes that are .

Every bite feels personal, and you can taste the love and tradition behind each dish. This place is more than just a restaurant; it’s a reflection of home and heritage, where good food and great vibes come together effortlessly. If you’re after authentic soul food, this spot is a must-try.

I hate to leave a bad review but the food is just okay.. nothing special. But the service was absolutely horrendous.

Anytime we asked our server for anything he seemed bothered or annoyed. We had to wait about 5 to 10 minutes every time he came to the table. The restaurant only had two other tables filled. And when the food finally came out, he only gave us 2 napkins, and there were 5 of us. As soon as he set them down, I asked if we can have more napkins, and he snapped back quickly at me and said “Can I get you anything else”

We ordered the tasty 3? Hot link po’boy and dat smoked turkey. The food lacked flavor or any love honestly and came out Luke warm.. it was just so insulting that we were served this.

Wow wow WOW… is all I can say!! As a mom of 4 boys and a husband from Georgia- I’m always being asked to make soul food (and I do on occasion) but every dish is a labor of love & takes so much time, so to go to a restaurant that makes it as good as I do, if not better, was such a huge treat for this mama!

We ordered the box #3, which was an incredible amount of food for the price! We were in a rush to get to my son’s football game and so CC & our server kindly packed everything up so nicely and even gave us plates for the road!

The catfish and chicken were seasoned perfectly and made fresh, hot sauce and roumelade were next level yummy! The sides were generous in size and each one of them were amazing! We had the Mac n cheese, greens and sweet potatoes. The three of us couldn’t even finish the food, so my other son was able to enjoy a full meal after his game as well. He loved it!

Not only was the food soooo good, but CC and her staff were so so kind. Our bellies & hearts were happy. We will definitely be going back. What a GEM of a place!

My family and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at CC’s on Central, and I can confidently say this spot is a soul food treasure. From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and the smell of authentic Southern cooking set the tone for an amazing experience. My wife ordered the shrimp étouffée, and it was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I went with the catfish po’boy crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and packed with seasoning that hit all the right notes. Our 2 year old daughter had the chicken strips, and even she was dancing in her seat between bites definitely kid-approved and parent-pleasing!

On top of the delicious food, the music choice was perfect smooth, soulful tunes that elevated the whole experience and made us feel right at home.

Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, we had to try a slice of the red velvet cake moist, decadent, and melt in your mouth good. It was the perfect sweet finish to an already incredible meal.

To top it all off, this is a Black-owned business that’s clearly built on love, culture, and a commitment to quality. We’ll definitely be back and bringing friends and family with us.

If you’re in the Phoenix area and craving soulful, homemade comfort food that feeds both body and spirit, do yourself a favor and stop by CC’s on Central. They also validate parking. Trust, you won’t regret it!

Now I hate to leave a bad review as I was so excited to come to this establishment. First of all the Host needs to improve on his eye contact skills and hospitality skills. He didn’t make eye contact while we was ordering and it came off as rude but I still left him a $5.00 tip. Then the Hennessy Colada was not good at all. It was sour and tasted nothing like the name. To add insult to injury I ordered the 2 peace fried catfish with shrimp etoufee, spelled it wrong sorry, for an extra $11.00 and just got fried catfish with gravy. I mean for $11.00 extra they could have added 1 or 2 baby shrimps in my gravy. My friend ordered the 4 piece fried chicken which was over cooked, damn near burnt, and pieces in my Mac n cheese was burnt and hard when I chewed it. The lady, im assuming owner, came over and I brought it to her attention about the Mac and was gone touch on the other issues but when she said oh its burnt on top, as if thats how baked Mac supposed to be I just shut up. After that she noticed they had forgot our biscuits/cornbread. Smh $78 bucks later huh lol. Then every worker in there came off with a funky attitude. This by far is the worse soul food ive had in AZ. Biscuits tasted like mushy saltine crackers balled up, baked with some honey on the top. Never again.
