Best Irish Pub this side of Ireland in Victor, Montana! The fish and chips are authentic and the ambiance of tne place transports you to across the pond. It’s a happening place. We arrived early to get ahead of the crowds. The Irish Whiskey I had was amazing! Thank you to Laurie our server for making The Hamilton House memorable and we will return! My buddy Kirk says this place is one of the best Irish Pub’s he has ever been too and has been a patron here with his family since 1994. Highly recommend. The Hamilton House is authentic in every way!
We returned in April 2025 to our usual awesome servers and hosts. This place is a must if you want real fish and chips in Montana! Always a great place andeven more awesome food too!

We came for appetizers and started with the sampler plate it was awesome.. and a lot of food. The cheese fries were great as well. The decor is fitting friendly atmosphere. Seat yourself server was good. Not over bearing fun a little stressed maybe. But she was great to us. We enjoyed our visit and will be back.

I have been here several times now. The food is so so unless the owner is there cooking. When she is there the quality is much better.
My family went on a Monday night. There was one cook, Maizy and one waitress, Addy. The waitress made drinks, took orders, bussed tables, checked people out and answered the phone with a smile. The cook took every opportunity to point out that the waitress was not getting food out fast enough and needed to answer the phone quicker. Even publicly called her out for forgetting to ask if the customer wanted cheese or sour cream. Seriously, put in on the side and move on with your life.
I was offended for the waitress that busted her butt and gave great service.
There was no teamwork tonight. That girl is doing everything while you deep fry food with your AirPods in your ears. Be a teammate and YOU answer the phone or check a customer out instead and treating your coworker like crap when she is carrying you in the tips department.
Not sure I will go back. Can’t watch that level of mistreatment to the staff member who is going above and beyond for her customers.

Best fish and chicken strips in Montana. Hand made never frozen, simply delicious. Come hungry because portions are large. For those with a smaller appetite half portions are available. Great relaxed atmosphere, wonderful friendly workers, that strive to make sure you’re well served. You won’t be dissapointed…unless you show up on the weekend, as they are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

I like this place a lot. The fish and chips here are the best. Last night I tried the fish grilled instead of deep fried and it was great. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was tender not chewy their sauce had just enough horseradish in it to make it perfect for me.
This restaurant has a full bar. Plenty of scotch and bourbon favorites all the way down the line from there, to the vodka, gin Etc.
They also have a game room with foosball and a pool table darts. They have a little band there on Friday nights. It’s all around fun place to go have dinner and a drink.
The bu seeing lots of transitions used to be a video store, ice cream shop etc. now the inside feels really warm and cozy like you’re in someone’s house. Bookcases on the walls and used as dividers for the areas where the table seating is. Pictures on the wall remind you of being in someone’s house. Warm friendly and quaint. It’s just comfortable and really really laid back.
The waitresses seemed very friendly and attentive also.if you haven’t tried this place yet you should definitely give it a try.

This place came highly recommended by a local. We ordered the famous fish and chips with high hopes from the recommendation. They arrived with raves from the waitress about the GARLIC fish and chips, we ordered one of each (1/2 orders). The filet on the original was thick and well battered although not completely cooked and tasted like bleach. The GARLIC filet was thinner and cooked but no GARLIC flavor and did have the bleach flavor. Neither of us had more than a few small bites of the fish. We were so disappointed and asked the waitress (who was very good at her job) to inform the cook that my fish was not cooked. We did not mention the bleach issue but should have for the respect of others. I did not expect to get a free meal but paid $60 for a shrimp basket and 2 meals that were left to be tossed in the garbage. Sorry folks, you may need to kick it up a notch and get some fly scatters in there for your unwanted flies…

We sat on the bar side for lunch. Our server was wonderful. The food was delicious. The locals that were there enjoying a cup of clam chowder were so nice.

You establishment has always been an amazing place to take the family to eat the environment has always been great and the staff has always been super friendly until today. The food was still great but the waitress that I have attached a picture of is hands down the rudest lazy person you have on your staff she has the personality of a potato. By the time we received our meal our drinks were empty she didn’t offer to refill them I let her walk by our table over five times waiting for her to offer before I had to ask she then refilled one of the drinks and left the other two emptie even though this happened I said thank you multiple times weather I was ordering or when she handed the food down there wasn’t a you’re welcome or anything there were multiple people complaining about how poor a waitress she was it definitely didn’t seem like she cared to be there and she obviously had a poor attitude one other small thing to complain about here is there was no Irish music playing there was some good music playing in the kitchen but not what I would usually expect to hear I didn’t mind it but many other people did I hope you can improve this situation in the future
