Ordered a $10 3 carnitas tacos with rice and Bean plate and it was good! Not exceptional but tasty and I added salt and brought my own hot sauce and my kids had a bacon hot dog that was huge and a grilled cheese and both enjoyed their meal. There were salads, baked goods and sandwiches too. The pizza place was closed.

My friend said everything they’ve had there has been delicious from the pizza to the chicken strips! I did take note they offer many vegan options! The people were friendly and helpful, there’s lots of options, and lots of seating. It is open to the public, but hours are limited.

Came on a Saturday morning after Thanksgiving right when they opened. The original crispy chicken burger was delicious. Hot, tender and juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Nice fluffy brioche bun and fresh veggies. I requested for no additional seasoning and it was as requested. Cafe manager was hospitable and welcoming. Lots of seating, clean and quiet. I left my husband in charge and enjoyed a short 20min break to recharge before heading back into the craziness.

The person at the front counter never smiled or offered any assistance in choosing food. I got the asian chicken take away salad and my adult son got the beef eater sandwich. The chicken on the salad was so overcooked and dry I struggled to chew it and after the second bite I stopped eating it due to having a hard time swallowing it. The salad dressing only tasted like ginger and the rest of the salad had little flavor. For $18 the salad DID NOT meet even my barest expectations. The beef eater had too much bread for the tiny ampunt of filling and since the bread was cold it completely started to fall apart. The cheese was good but the rest of the meat and vegetables had little to no flavor. For $15, would not order again. Would not recommend the take away food at all. The restaurant was a nice atmosphere and outside was nice until the wasps would not leave us alone. If I come here again I will try the pizza.

Five star because my kids love they Mac and cheese. I think it is very good too. We don’t go here because of how amazing the staffs should be or the the great atmosphere, simply because the yummy Mac and cheese and a comfortable enough place to eat.

Came here with our family. Not the most intuitive set up. You have to grab a menu and then find where to place your order. We say outside. The patio could use some tidying up. Most of the food was tasty and a good value but the mini beef tacos did not taste very good at all, bitter aftertaste, and we not worth the price considering the portion given. We liked the chips, roast beef sandwich, and tuna sandwich. Would do again, just avoid the tacos.

Came here on a Tuesday to see the Marcel exhibit. Got a membership so 10% off at Theory, but even without that it’s legit prices for Portland. Their cheeseburger tasted char broiled and had a great GF bun available. Kids said the grilled cheese and pizza were great too. Lastly, got a vegan Santa fe bowl, which was really hearty and filling. Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere with tons of space. Now that we’re members we’ll definitely come back and just chill in here while the kids explore. Thanks for the great spot, OMSI!

Expensive disgusting food. The mac and cheese tasted like freezer burn with essence of cheese. The chicken strips were bone dry since it was overcooked.
The service, if you want to call it that, consists of a cashier with RBF with matching attitude and you have to grab your own food and clean up after yourself. And of course they will have the audacity to ask for a tip when you pay with the minimum tip being 15%.
Atmosphere was exactly what you would expect of a cafeteria. But then I was there right before closing and I got to watch them “clean” the tables with a mop that they would rest on the ground while spraying the table. Eww. Just… this was just like a cancer in an otherwise excellent experience at OMSI.

No wonder this place is never busy. The food is awful. Cold chips and burger bun was ice cold. I got chips instead of the fries I ordered. When I got my fries, that was the only thing I ate because that was the only thing that was hot. The burger tasted awful. The chips were bland. My child loved her Mac and cheese though.. but how can you mess THAT up for kids? I’m glad to experience this just this once because it won’t happen again.
