Tucked away in the corner of the Westgate branch of Ann Arbor Public Library is the best option for coffee around. The staff is always helpful. I have witnessed them remake my drink 4 times when it did not turn out up to snuff for them. (Not because I asked them to, but because they knew they could present a nicer drink). Its a great opportunity to grab a drink or snack before curling up in the library to read a book.

Fall drink menu is so fun! But beware if you don’t particularly have a sweet tooth. Staff is so kind and accomodating, and I ended up loving my pumpkin cold brew. Sweetwater’s is an Ann Arbor gem!

Coffee and books often seem to go together, and this place is no different. You often find coffee houses that have shelves lined with books. Well, this place takes that concept to a whole new level. The coffee house is either inside or connected to the Ann Arbor public library, so you’re surrounded by books. The seating is ample and comfortable, and most importantly, the coffee is good.

Very nice atmosphere. Staff are very friendly. I come here every time I go to the library, and I would definitely recommend this place to other students, writers, or just anyone in general. Their drink menu is very diverse, and the seasonal menu items never disappoint. I would highly recommend the Thai milk tea for anyone who likes milk teas. It’s super good.

As much as I come to the library next door, I need to stop by here more often!
I’m usually a tea drinker with occasional coffee at the cafes. When I do order coffee, I want to actually taste it, not hide it behind a bunch of sweeteners. Today I decided to try the iced Americano from Sweetwaters and am pleasantly surprised. Great flavor, would say it’s not too heavy like a dark roast, which I do like. I’ve begun to enjoy espressos more and exploring around town.
This was a refreshing start to my morning! Staff was courteous and friendly, greeting me when I picked up my mobile order.

Just came in looking for an iced coffee and walked out with my new favorite drink. Kadense asked me what I was looking for in a drink and recommended I try the Double Chocolate Velvet Matte Black Cold brew, one of their currently featured drinks. It was like liquid gold! I will be back again for good drinks and great service.
