Mazzio’s used to be great years ago…but it is just just passable. The pizza wasn’t as good, but my husband thoroughly enjoyed the salad bar. They were obviously understaffed as most places are due to the Pandemic. All the hot pizza was thin brittle crust. The staff was doing a good job for the work load they had.
The young man wiping tables was far behind. We sat at one he had just cleaned , because all the rest were dirty or being used. It was the furthest table from the buffet. I dried the table with napkins and put the things back on the table myself.
The ice machine was out , my husband asked the cashier if we could ice from behind the kitchen. She brought glasses of ice to our table for us, and she was very accommodating.
It’s overpriced and not worth the money unless you want a good salad…in my opinion.

Mazzio’s should care more about their employees and their customers to update their Byram, MS store.

We went in for the supper buffet and was disappointed to find the pizza cold and the salad bar was not fresh. It seemed to be left over from earlier in the day. After about 30 minutes they did put out several fresh pizzas and put fresh salad out as well. The server was very friendly as well, just wished that we would have waited about 30 minutes and I believe it would’ve been a 4 star review. So if you go, don’t go before 6:45pm.

We waited 33 minutes for pizza and a cal-zone. The restaurant was FILTHY, there were only 2 clean booths in the entire place.
There were several waitresses lingering, but we had to get our own refills, etc. Not worth it.
Then the food sucked. It used to be so good. Mazzio’s needs to step it up!

Very salty, hard garlic breadsticks. Pizza & other food items on the bar are “ok” when hot & fresh, much worse when it isnt. Service wasn’t the best either. We werent greeted, we had to question prices that were given to us, and it took quite a while to get someone to clean our table. The waitress is probably the reason for the add’l star. All of the tables that we saw were not clean. All of them.
The buffet allows for a feeling of fullness for less than $10. But dont expect satisfaction, imo. Ive have better frozen pizzas & entrees. My first time going & I’m very unlikely to go back.

One of the few places in Byram to have a dine in pizza. It is an older facility which needs updating. Prices are slightly above market. Food is average. They do have a bargain priced lunch buffet that is very popular. Not really a bad choice for the lunch but expect a crowd.

We ordered two pizzas and they both were very good. We didn’t order extra cheese but there was a lot of cheese. The cashier was very sweet, and we got our pizzas fairly quickly!

This place used to be so delicious but now it seems as if the food is just thrown together. We ordered the calzone and cinnamon sticks, and they were terrible. The calzone was dry and they left off the marinara sauce and the cinnamon sticks were cooked hard with a sprinkle of icing. I’ll have to find a good pizza place for me and my family but Mazzios definitely isn’t it!

Cashiers handle your money and give your buffet plates WITH hands INSIDE plate. Requested spinach pizza for the buffet twice and it never came out. The waitress was nice when she stopped by to see what we needed and brought extra plates but did not return.

I wanted Mazzios pizza for days so I made the decision to go to Byram.
Well, I should had been flagged when I saw the claws the employee had on her hands.
There is no way anybody can WORK with those things.
That’s right, she didn’t work.
I ask her to clean a table for us and I’m just glad I couldn’t see the face she gave me.
There wasn’t enough pizza on the bar for the 6 people already there.
I ask her to put a pepperoni pizza in and still had to wait for 40 more minutes.
Needless to say,
I will never go to that dump again.
DONT GO, you will thank me .
