First time coming here and we really enjoyed it. Felt very authentic to Indian food. I love that it showed south and North Indian food. The food was so aromatic and very flavorful. They did forget one of our orders which didn’t come out till when we were done with our food. They offer buffet here and I’d love to try their Indian buffet. The portion size is small but still shareable. I enjoyed their garlic naan, a little bit thicker than what I am used to but no worries. I got their samosa but the sauce it came with was a little too sweet for my preference. Looking forward to coming back!

Lunch buffet was delicious. A little spicy on a few things. Who knew you could make a delicious dessert out of lentils. Haven’t paid for my lunch yet so I cant comment on price. I wish I wasn’t so full. I would love 2nds. Ladies who were working were just lovely

I highly recommend this place. I used to live in Virginia, where there were a few great spots for Hyderabad food. When I moved to Sacramento, I was disappointed to find none and was constantly on the lookout for a place that served delicious biryani and curries. This restaurant truly lives up to its name. The staff is amazing and very hospitable. We love going to their weekend buffets almost every week; they have a huge selection of items.

I am updating my **5-star review to 1 star**. When this place first opened, their food was outstanding, but over time, they’ve significantly compromised on both taste and quality. Now, the food is completely **tasteless and bland**—even the curries are just *meh*. It’s no longer the same.

I recommend trying **Bakery Bites** and **Chaat Paradise** in the same block instead—they offer **tastier and more affordable food**. The only downside is that neither serves non-veg, but they always maintain great quality and value for money.

I’ve been **repeatedly disappointed** by the curries and biryani over the past several months. Even after giving their weekend buffet two chances, I found everything **flavorless and noticeably old**—you could tell the chicken in the appetizers wasn’t fresh. They may have **lowered the buffet price**, but it came at the cost of **quality**.

**No longer recommended.**

The physical location is har to find from the main street, We visited this restaurant for lunch, fairly slow. Half the buffet items were covered due to nothing to offer. The food signs are hand-written, hard to read and mistagged, misleading the description of the food being served. The wallpaper is nice.the prices are reasonable.

Absolutely the best Indian food in and around Sacramento!

Curries and Biryani in Folsom is hands down my go-to spot for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine. The quality of the food is consistently top-notch, and their buffet is a must-try — a perfect way to sample a wide variety of dishes that are all fresh, delicious, and totally worth it.

They have specials everyday for dinners. Which is best bang for the buck!

A special shout-out to Karan, who is incredibly friendly and helpful. His warm hospitality makes the dining experience even better. Whether you’re new to Indian food or a longtime fan, you’ll feel right at home here.

Highly recommended — whether you’re in Folsom or anywhere in the Sacramento area, it’s worth the drive!

We did the lunch buffet. The food was very oily and the worst we have tasted. I have still to have a good Indian meal after 45 years in the USA.
As an Indian I feel that the standards are so low I am sad for my country USA. The standards have declined so much.
Chipped plates, grimy tables, buffet spoon handles with gravy etc etc.
I would have given a zero but hope the single star will encourage them to do better!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Curries & Biryanis in Folsom, and it was a great experience. The warm ambiance and the scent of spices promised a treat for the senses. The buffet spread was extensive, offering a variety of authentic Indian dishes that were rich in flavor and prepared with care.

Food was flavorful, serving was sufficient as well; not too large or too little.

The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was concerning. The surroundings felt sticky, and even the plate I was given still had residue on it, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. Cleanliness is a key part of dining, so I hope this can be improved moving forward.

One of our dishes did not arrive. When we requested a refund, we were told that the order was ready, which raises the question—if it was ready, why was it never served to us?”

We went there recently for weekend buffet. The staffs were friendly. Buffet option on veg and non veg weren’t good or I would say we didn’t like it. The nan’s served here are frozen. The Biriyani was like mixed rice with chicken or goat meat. Medu Vada’s were dry, punugulu and pakodi was good, the tandoori chickens were dry and they accepted too when I complained.Chicken Masakali was good. I don’t think it’s worth for the price we paid and don’t want to go there again.

Respond to Owners message- Yes we do see your menu every day and we do understand the effort of the chefs and everyone’s time however at the end if the food is not good for the amount you pay then all the efforts are gone in drain. I don’t want to discourage anyone as everyone has their personal opinion hence we review and give our own feedback

I have went to the weekend buffet and all the dishes were very tasty, especially Curry Leaves Chicken and Baby-corn Manchurian.

Mutton biryani was extremely tasty, you can tell it’s made with quality ingredients, love and care.

We will be visiting this place again and again!
