Food was actually pretty good for an around the way, hole in the wall type place. The only thing that seemed odd was the fried rice was yellow in color, instead of the usual light brownish most places serve, but it tasted pretty good.

Ordered from door dash last minute before close. Food was made fast. It arrived and was still hot and glistening 20 minutes later. Food was rich in flavor. Chicken fingers were amazing, best I’ve ever had for Chinese. Crab Rangoons were excellent. Fried rice was delicious. I think I have a new favorite in the area

Ordered delivery. Would have been nice to get utensils, at least the hotel had some. Very happy with the food. It was piping hot upon delivery. Crab rangoon is really good. General Tso is medium spicy if you’re sensitive to spicy. Really pleased and super affordable with good portions

The sesame chicken was totally flavorless, and the pork fried rice — how dare they call it that — was a color that does not exist in nature. The only good thing about this food is that I had to put in as much effort obtaining it as they did cooking it: zero.

I was looking for somewhere for lunch as I work in the area and wanted something different. I’d never heard of China Taste but am so glad I stopped here! Frankly I think most Chinese food restaurants in the Portland/Gorham area are just okay, but this lunch was AWESOME. I got the lunch special with General Tso’s, crab Rangoon and pork fried rice with a soda, and holy COW. Everything was fresh, good portion sizes, and delicious. Probably some of the best Chinese food I’ve had and it looked beautiful — I literally HAD to take a photo haha. If you’re in the area for lunch, get your takeout here! I’m excited to do takeout for my family for dinner some night.

PLEASE READ: WORST PLACE AND FOOD EVER!! Tonight my fiancé, my toddler, and I ordered dinner from here! $85!!! THEY FORGOT HALF OF OUR ORDER and the food was absolutely disgusting! My husband got the wonton soup and said that it smelt and tasted like a dead rotting animal (no one ate it) but now with everything that we did eat, we all have food poisoning and after 20 years my husband threw up after eating their food!! His body does not allow him to throw up EVER! Something is wrong with this place!!!

My favorite neighborhood Chinese. Very generous portions, lovely staff, good price, better for takeout than dine in. They only have a few tables inside. I have ordered basically everything from their menu to feed large family gatherings.. . Everyone was happy every time.

Still love them… First time we have had china taste since January when we stopped ordering take out or even going out with the virus scare… But I couldn’t stop thinking about those dumplings. We splurged like fifty bucks for two of us today because we missed it so much and we ate until our bellies hurt. Love the covid safety protection they have installed in the entrance
