I’ll give them credit bc they just opened this wk but it took quite awhile to get our food. There were a lot of ppl waiting around for their food so I think it would be helpful to have have a row of chairs along that plexiglass partition. Also small portion sizes for what it cost. Salt and pepper and chile flakes on the tables would be helpful. The bread used for the sandwich had a great flavor.

This subterranean hideout is located next to the grand island tourism center, at the corner of 3rd and N. Locust. It is wheelchair accessible( both restrooms are accessible as well) via ramp opposite of the stairs. They do offer a dinner menu through a restaurant called the Chocolate Bar( when ordering ask about the desserts). The drink menu is packed with aromatic and high brow movie puns. This establishment, which has been open since November of 2024, is owned by a local couple and community activists. You’ll find curiosities all over the bar, like the tiny room, games, and some decorations that you can ask the friendly and welcoming staff.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover The Archives, a hidden gem tucked away (just across the street from McKinney’s). This underground, speakeasy-style bar offers a unique and intimate atmosphere perfect for a night out. The cocktails were expertly crafted and incredibly delicious. Each sip was a delightful experience. The table games added an extra layer of fun to the evening, making it a great place to socialize with friends. If you’re looking for something different in Grand Island, I highly recommend checking out The Archives

Pleasant variety of non-alcoholic drinks. Very cute interior and super sweet staff. Excited to try some signature drinks soon! Space was bright yet cozy. Nice to see snack options while having a drink. Will be back!
