This restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Hayward. Street parking only. Limited indoor seating. This place was clean and well-organized. The menu is simple but packed with delicious choices. The server was very friendly and helpful. She recommended all the food we ordered.

Must try their #50 dry-fried green beans, #23 Cilantro beef, and #26 Chili fried chicken.

Was in the area and got turned onto this place by a few friends. Was so good, we went twice in 2 days (once dine-in and once takeout). Both were amazingly good.

Highlights: cilantro beef, dry hot pot, cumin lamb and spicy wontons. But everything else we got was good as well (although come prepared to eat some spicy food!)

Service was warm and very good… was like dining at a family member’s house. Would definitely recommend!

Salt & pepper shrimp was great! Slightly oily but delicious. The vegetable chow mein noodles were yummy! And the Sauted cabbage was perfect. 45$ for 3 big plates of food. Will definitely be back!

If you are looking for spicy Chinese food, this is the place closest to the east bay Tri-Valley. Food was tasty, the prices were good, and the quantity was generous. Very hard to find spicy Chinese in tri Tri-Valley. Would recommend trying once.

This place is fantastic. The best Szechuan Chinese food I ever had.

The lamb toothpick was crispy and juicy.
The fish with Chinese pickled was amazingly flavor of spicy and sour
The eggplant chili was sweet and salty

My wife is from Szechuan and she said it was the most authentic food she ever had in the bay area.

The food is not too spicy but has that kick that makes you want to have more and more.
Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant.
My only complaint is that i wish they sold beer but that is my personal problem. The food made me forget the need for alcohol.

This is a great local gem. The parking is limited to street parking. The interior and furnishings were clean and modern. I was pleasantly surprised by the cute design and the effort made to make the restaurant cozy and stylish.

My party of three shared the following:

The sour chili beef sliced soup ($19.95) which was our first time having something like this; it has a slightly sour taste and an great heat in a dish with no visible chilies. The meat was a bit tough but the bamboo and the noodles were great. I am not a fan of bean sprouts and could do without them but overall a pretty good dish.

The wontons in chili oil sauce (10) ($9.95) was my favorite dish. The wontons had a nice thin skin and they had a great texture and flavor. It’s much lighter than other chili wonton dishes I’ve had previously. I think because of the exclusion of sesame paste. Not spicy to me at all.

We also got the fish fillet in hot chili oil ($18.95) and it was lovely. I was impressed by the large pieces of fish fillet and the amount provided. Usually when I order this dish elsewhere it’s not as nearly as abundant. There is still a lot of napa cabbage and bean sprouts underneath the fish for those that like that part of the dish. The spice wasn’t overwhelming.

To round out the meal, we got the bok-choy with black mushrooms ($12.95). It was perfectly seasoned and a great palate cleanser.

If you’re looking for the extreme mala spice or spiciness, you might have to ask them to make it spicier, but for me it was perfect. My mom thought it was a bit too spicy and my brother thought it wasn’t spicy enough.

Our total was $86.99 including tip. A great price for the amount of food. We had plenty of leftovers and they wrapped it up for us which always makes the dining experience much better. Though friendly, the staff is sometimes all in the back at once so don’t be shy to say ‘excuse me’ loudly to get what you need. I would come back if i was in the area.

This is the real deal. If you want authentic Szechuan cuisine (not to be confused with Americanized Chinese restaurants that call themselves “Szechuan”), you come here. Only place in this area that serves this kind of food. This is a favorite of the whole family and we are a bunch of picky eaters. Our favorite is their chili chicken, small little golden nuggets bathed in spicy numbing garlicky goodness.

Loved the dry pot with beef and tofu skin! You can choose 6 diff proteins/veggies and a spicy or garlic flavor. They are still working on translating the dry pot menu options but the server was so sweet to translate everything for us. The green beans were perfectly fried and extra garlicky. The eggplant could be cooked longer but flavor was on point. The owners are older and so hospitable, like eating at your parent’s friends house 🙂 they treated us to a cool Chinese dessert concoction and boba/smoothie on the house! They also have the classic American Chinese dishes like honey walnut shrimp and sweet and sour pork ribs that our kids usually like. we’re coming back to try the rest of the menu!

My family like Sichuan foods a lot, and we finally found a newly opened
restaurant in Hayward near our home. The food is very fresh and delicious.
Especially their service is best, and the price is reasonable. the owner gave us
some gifts including rice and dessert. Highly recommend this newly opened
restaurant, also can to-go.

Food was extremely tasty and fulfilling. Price was between $15-$20 per plate. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is small but the seating is great especially for dinner. It is a well known place for locals.
