The staff was very friendly and attentive and the wait was fairly short. The restaurant provides outdoor shaded seating, perfect for parties of 5-6. The food was surprisingly amazing! I had butter chicken, samosas, and their spinach cheese spinach naan and wow the portions were generous and nothing short of delicious. The owner even came by as I was eating to check if everything was good and to ask for feedback. I will definitely be coming back!

Can’t recommend enough – great place to get some fresh, flavorful North Indian food. The dhal makhni was out of this world. Food was cooked to order and the wait was worth it. Will absolutely keep going back to this place! The service was top notch.

My new favorite lunch spot in this area!
It’s hidden away inside a convenience store (with a door that’s ridiculously hard to open). Would never expect to look there, but glad I did. Delicious food with tons of options (vegetarian and non), reasonable prices, and excellent service from the owners.
Only (minor) issues were:
– plate and packaging were too thin, but the owner said he’d change those up
– not a lot of outdoor seating with umbrellas, making it hard to sit there
If you work nearby or go to the WeWork, would highly recommend this place.

The staff were so incredibly kind and thoughtful, they were fast and efficient and still felt homely. The food was absolutely amazing, warm and comforting, spicy but not overwhelming, I will definitely be going here again! The food didn’t even last long enough to take a picture of.

Had amazing Chhole Bhature and Dal makhni along with a mix parantha. These are our all time favorite dishes to pick and this small but amazing place didn’t disappoint. The portion size was quite generous against most desi places in Austin, we loved the friendliness of the staff and the owner. Will definitely recommend and would come back to try other dishes 🙂

Its a eating joint inside a grocery store. More suitable for takeouts, but has decent space outside to sit. In middle of a college / student place so overall ambience is vibrant.
Punjabi owned place. Tried chola bhatura and paratha & both were tasty, and had flavor. Would love to come back again.

I’m Punjabi and know Punjabi food – this was far too spicy, the chicken was burnt, and it was overpriced. If you’re going to charge Clay Pit prices then be high quality. It was so spicy I could barely tolerate it, my daughter spat it out, and the chicken was burnt and almost inedible. Would not recommend.
