Burger was average as it was a bit dry. Service was fantastic. Really basic diner feel. Local ownership so great to support. Parking in front of on street is limited.

The owner, Vera, is very nice. She came around to each table to thank us for coming. The food and service were both good. Food arrived expeditiously. I tried the hamburger steak w/ gravy & onions, fried okra and mac and cheese. The hamburger steak and okra were excellent. However, the mac and cheese could use some seasoning as it was kind of bland. Overall, I’d recommend giving it a try. I will be making a return trip to try their other various items.

Our breakfast was great, right up until we were asked to pay and leave soon. There were no parties waiting for a table, we had been there only 35 mins and some were still actively eating.

Stopped in for a late breakfast with a family member. We were immediately greeted by the owner and multiple workers. We seated ourselves and were promptly brought menus/drinks. From the pictures on the menu I decided on the country fried chicken with white gravy and was not disappointed. Chicken was thin and crispy and covered with a nice flavored gravy. My family member is extremely picky about scrambled eggs but ate every bite with no complaints. Everything on the menu was very reasonably priced and great for quick bite. We can’t wait to check it out for lunch especially with the taco specials and flan/carrot cake which we saw get brought in fresh just before the lunch hour.

I came here since I was working around the area and it was such a pleasant experience! I was immediately greeted when I walked in & the staff is so friendly. The owner sat with me & chatted while I waited for my food and I really appreciated that! I love going to places where the owner takes the time to meet & talk to you. The service was amazing & I didn’t wait long at all for my food. It was so delicious! I don’t live close to the area but I will definitely be going out of my way to come here again 🙂

Tried this for the first time today. The food was average, the decor was average but as others have said, the people working there are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back and try some of their other food to see if it’s any better.
