The food was phenomenal. I ordered the steak and eggs and my wife ordered the Ouefs Royal. Both meals were generously portioned and tasty! Don’t sleep on the steak and eggs’ salsa verde, which is more like a pesto sauce—I ended up wiping the plate clean of the sauce with the table bread to enjoy it all. We bought the Groupon, which allowed for a free cocktail each—we ordered two French 79s—so good!
Groupon or not, we always tip well—on the pre-discounted price—and we’re happy to. The service was phenomenal and the ambiance transported us back to Paris, which I haven’t seen in years. Thanks Le Jardin! We’ll be back!
For appetizers, we had the country-style pate and the endive salad with apples, walnuts & Roquefort.
For our main course, we both had the duck breast with roasted carrots & string beans, and a potato gratin.
For dessert, we shared a caramel soufflé with ice cream.
The restaurant is beautiful, they have a very interesting cocktail menu (we had their take on a Boulevardier), the food is fantastic, and the service, amazing (make sure you get Iron as your waiter; he is the king of servers).
We will definitely be going back!
As an aside, being partially disabled, I really appreciated the elevator to the ladies room!
