The food here is great, but the staff is not. On certain days, I can tell when someone is working because they refuse to answer the phone. Went in one time and gave the punk a piece of my mind. Claimed it was busy, was leaning against the counter while the phone rang off the hook, no orders to be made. Still can’t get them to answer the phone. Must be nice to do nothing for a living. Probably wants a $15/hour minimum wage too.

To the person who said we let the phones ring off the hook and do nothing…that’s completely false. We bust our asses here and do the best we can. I work everyday all day so I know I do not let the phones ring and ring and neither does any one else. Don’t falsely accuse our store of poor staff. And you probably called on a Monday. We are closed on Mondays and I come in on Mondays to do prep. Our sign clearly says closed on Mondays. And like I said I’m the only one here everyday and you surely did not give me “the punk” a piece of your mind.

2 Cheesesteaks = $22 and some change. With a price tag that high, one would expect the steak to fill the sub. One would be wrong. A solid inch and a half of the ends are only bread. The cheese is yellow american. The middle is no better. Maybe the steak slid towards the middle? Nope. It doesn’t even fill half of the sub roll. Don’t ask for pickles. They are bread and butter pickles and you would have problems finding 4 tiny slivers.
In the past, this place has been hit or miss. Sometimes fantastic. Other times just downright awful. As of late, it’s only been awful. I have tried and tried going to Mamma Marias hoping for a reason to spend hard earned money on a local business. Each time I’m let down. I will NOT spend another dime at Mamma Marias in Jarrettsville Maryland.

Personally you wont find a better place around Jarretville that is as cheap as Mama’s and has good homemade Itlian food like Mamas….People who judge off of what the place looks like and not the quality of the food is sad because it truly is a great little Italian carry out.
P.S= People who say this place is too expensive is clearly lieing because Iv priced check all around and 90 percent the stuff on the menu is cheaper than other places in Jville.

They suck. Orders fries and pizza and they never brought the fries. So I called them and they said I never asked for fries which is bullshit. Then they claimed that they’ll bring them by later but never showed up.
