I love Bruster’s ! I love their oat milk ice cream it’s vegan and completely delicious. Their homemade waffle cones are fabulous. My husband and son love their dairy based ice creams! Take a look at all the delicious toppings. Adding today-I just tried the mango oat milk ice cream and it is so good!!!

Several times this year we stop by and it takes a long time before anyone comes to wait on us. Twice, no one came and we left. We appreciate the dairy free ice cream but they are always flavors with chocolate. If you don’t like chocolate – you have no choice. We pretty much have given up coming to the Audubon location.

Was there today 10/5/25 with the family. I ordered a small regular blast with M&Ms and waited at the pick up window. When they handed it to me, the ice-cream was melted and extremely runny. I asked them to remake it, the worker poured the ice-cream into a bigger cup and than adding more ice-cream on top. The bottom half was melted and the top half had a scoop of ice cream on top. Will not be back to this place.

While I really didn’t care for the Caramel Explosion with Twix (where were the Twix?), the Double Chocolate Chunk and my waffle cone were very good. My wife enjoyed her Wedding Cake in a cup as well.
Decent location, a lot of ice cream flavors, and reasonable prices make it worth a visit in my book.

Stopped by Brusters after a hot (95) day for ice cream. Being from Wisconsin and connoisseurs of premium dairy products, we wanted to try the local fare. It was alright, B-, just above passing grade. Service was good, although they were out of some options (and at the end of a hot day, I can understand that!).
For a classic ice cream stand, Bruster’s gets a passing grade.

I ordered the pb sundae a week ago and I paid for extra toppings. The girl went out of her way to barely put any toppings on the ice cream. It was like eating vanilla ice cream. I will not be back.
UPDATE:
I gave them a second chance and they actually put large marshmallows instead of marshmallow topping, And when whole marshmallows freeze they are rock hard!! They also didn’t have any Reese’s peanut butter cups, which you kinda need for a peanut butter cup sundae. Also I have a bowl full of ice cream and very little toppings- I paid for extra toppings!! Please drive down the road to zwahlens where they actually care about the product they present to their customers.

Rudest man, older, with a hat, maybe in his late 50s, at the window today 8.28.25. They ran out of bananas by 5 pm and he slammed the window closed! They have huge marketing photos of two different banana flavored ice creams and no bananas? Decided not to get any ice cream at all because of the extremely rude service!

We went on a Wednesday evening at about 7 pm, in march. We tried to order a hot dog meal but the fryer was down… We didn’t know they had food other than ice cream until we got there so it didn’t matter to us. We ordered two Banana splits with no whip cream. We got exactly what we ordered and we both agreed that they were in our top five best banana splits we ever had. The employees were cordial and service was quick. It’s not cheap but it shouldn’t be. Technically what we had was more of a banana chop than a banana split, but shape has no affect on taste.

Beware of Cross-Contamination
We love the ice cream at Bruster’s, and we’ve been very happy that they have dairy-free, non-coconut options, as we have a child allergic to both dairy and coconut. However, tonight we purchased one of the oatmilk flavors, mint chocolate chip, for our daughter, and she had an allergic reaction. We assume it was a cross-contamination issue as opposed to the product actually having dairy in it when it said it didn’t. Either way, it was a scary event for us, as our child’s throat began to swell a bit and it could have turned into an emergency if we didn’t have what was needed to treat the problem swiftly. We’ve gotten oatmilk ice cream from a different Bruster’s location multiple times and never had an issue.
