You want authentic flavors and the best Mexican in town? This is the spot. This is a 2nd location from the Amigos Bakery on 10th Street where they also served hot food. Man was I excited that they opened a 2nd location! The first location was always too packed with not enough seating and was just too darn popular. The main differences with this new location is they don’t sell tamales or pastries, but they do sell authentic frescas that rotate daily in flavor selection (horchata, pistachio, melon, watermelon, even pecan which I just tried today and loved). I’m a fresca snob and can tell when it’s artificially mixed but these are legit (you can tell the watermelon is fresh-squeezed with the real watermelon bits in it).
They sell both breakfast items and lunch/dinner. The best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had is the Ramon’s Special. The regular food is amazing too and tortillas are made in house fresh. We’ve enjoyed their enchiladas, carne asada burrito, their rice and beans are super flavorful (which is always my sign of a good Mexican restaurant), and my husband always gets their menudo on Sat/Sun.

Great food at very fair prices. Simple decor but very clean. The service was amazing. I had a chorizo burrito and my wife had the green chile beef. Both were just great.

Called my order in and they said 10 minutes pulled up to the window and paid for 2 menudos and 2 tortas. (Should have been easy order to fill since menudo is already done.) We pulled into parkinglot as we were asked and watched everyone before and after us get served. Finally got our order 45 minutes later after complaining. Very frustrating. We like their food and have eaten here a few times since they opened but even when eating indoors they are very slow getting the food out. I think we will just go back to the original place.

Delicious. I was able to get menudo later in the daytime. My husband doesn’t eat much Spanish rice but he even said the rice was delicious. Wasn’t crowded. Very comfortable to sit & eat.
