Pick Up Stix is a great fast food restaurant for fresh Asian food. The food is very flavorful and is made to order. I think that alone makes Pick Up Stix so good. Fresh-made food that’s not sitting under lamps. Every time I come, my food is always hot, never cold, and is delicious. This restaurant was clean, and the lady behind the counter was welcoming. My go-to dish is the House Special. On this particular day, my family and I ordered the House Special, Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, and Cashew Chicken, all with white rice. We took it to go, and when we arrived home ready to dig in, the food was still steaming hot! Everything was mouth-watering good! Yum yum yum!

We had a fantastic experience at Pick Up Stix! We sure miss it! Pick Up Stix are no longer in Arizona so Everytime we go to California, we NEVER miss one of our long lost favorites! You cannot beat all their fine Wok’d dishes, but the House Special, is REALLY THAT type of SPECIAL! Keep up the fantastic Wok, we’ll be seeing you again soon!

The last time I ate at Pick Up Stix was probably in 2004. The food did not meet expectations. The protein was lacking and I got more of the cornstarch than the real chicken or meat. Felt like mystery meat. Nothing was larger than a quarter sized in protein and it broke apart upon inspection. The only reason for two stars is that the veggies were real and the sauce was decently sweet. I’ll probably come back in another 10 years and see how it goes.

Please don’t eat here if you are expecting fresh food and decent service. My date and waited over 45 minutes for soggy food that tasted like plastic because it was microwaved in the containers and overcooked lumps of rice. The noodles were rubbery and congealed and looked and tasted like it was sitting in a fridge for two days and the won tons were slightly burned. I have tried the food at the San Pedro location and the food was good and fresh so I was really unpleasantly surprised at the lack of quality and the long wait for the food we ordered. I felt bad for my date because he spent over $50 for the food only to wind up with a lot of leftovers going into the trash. 1 star because their never selection was decent. Update: 2/25/24
My date got sick with diarrhea and stomach cramps in the morning after he ate the leftovers he took home from the restaurant for breakfast. I’ll definitely not be returning to this location and warning friends not to order from this place. Awful!

Take out order which included lettuce wrap had no hoisin sauce, only seven containers of chili sauce. First person I called hung up on me when asking to hold. Second and third people did not believe any sauce was expected. The supervisor eventually credited my order. Will have to go without this time, disappointed.

Overall it’s very good quick Chinese food. I thought the sauce on the Orange Chicken was a little heavy, same with the sauce on the Chow Mein, a little heavy. The flavor was great, portion size was good. The temperature of the dish was awesome, like right off the grill, spice was just right. Several flavors to try, I will be back soon.

Disgusting. Order Drunken Noodles & the cashier takes it upon herself to add beef when the entree was ordered for a vegetarian to it to increase the price. Already overpriced for low quality meats/produce. “Lemme just add $2 more to your order which I clearly should ask before I push the button to add it to your total.” You could probably get away w/ it if it wasn’t like gnawing on a leather belt alas … sub par & disgusting. No wonder ppl prefer Panda. Not me though. ASIA KITCHEN on Artesia is top tier.

House special chicken, how I’ve missed you. I moved, there’s no Pick Up Stix in Arizona. I was home visiting, so I had to go.
