Working from out of state and visited this establishment. I had the Pho #35 and Crispy Egg Noodle Mì Hoặc Mì Xào Giòn. Everything was spectacular. First time trying Crispy Egg Noodle Mì Hoặc Mì Xào Giòn. Server was polite and professional. Only down side was the hot tea tasted mediciney. I believe it was the water. I would definitely revisit the next time in the area.

Welp, looks like I found my pho place! I had gone to another one in Lynchburg a couple of months ago and was disappointed. NOT HERE!

I actually came here because the other, mediocre place is closed on Mondays. I’m glad I did.

As soon as I started walking from my car, I could smell that signature pho smell and I knew I was home.

It’s cute in there, nothing fancy, but is clean and quiet with calming music, so I adored it. Especially since I felt like crap…it was super comforting to have some yummy soup there today.

Anyway, there were only two people there besides me, so I was able to sit right away. The server who approached me was quiet and sweet.

I got the #47 (spicy beef noodle soup) and omg THAT BROTH was so delicious!! I can never finish a bowl of pho, but I came mighty close with this one.

I can’t wait to go again. Next time I won’t wait til I’m sick to have some.

Their catering was delicious! Ordered some as a trial run for our wedding and the were very good about communicating clearly. Great value as well.

Fantastic Vietnamese food. In particular their Bahn Mi are amazing! Everything has been great teas, pho, rice dishes, and spring rolls. This is our go to place and location in Lynchburg.

Edit: I recently found out Pho Viet is no longer affiliated with Saigon on Timberlake

Saigon has been a classic go-to and I’m glad to see them expanding to new locations. We heard this location has bánh mì and although it’s not on the menu we were told it’s available sporadically depending on their supplies. It was delicious! Full of flavor. A must if it’s available

I was not a fan of the food. Perhaps I should just stick to the basics and try the pho. I wanted to see what their apps were like and I regret my decision. The only one I liked was the spring rolls. Those were delicious. The others, however, were extremely bland and had no taste and I threw them in the trash. I tried the summer and shrimp rolls and the only difference between them is this thin strip of meat I almost didn’t notice. They are primarily stuffed with lettuce and it’s all completely tasteless. The peanut sauce was good but it didn’t make the rolls taste better. The calamari was the worst I’ve ever had. It tasted like nothingness and air.

Update 5/31 under different mgmt than a few years ago and the food is much better. I thoroughly enjoyed most of what was purchased yesterday. The only thing I wasn’t fond of was the seafood pho. I’ve never had pho before and I just don’t think it’s for me. The soup had kind of a bitter taste. The crispy spring rolls, pork, and beef were delicious! The dumplings weren’t that great, especially not the steamed ones. The summer rolls are much better now.

They are a good restaurant, and I would go again.
I recommend banh mi (although it’s more expensive than in Atlanta). I think the portion is larger than any other banh mi’s I have had.
Service is great. The server was nice.
Atmosphere is what you would expect from a Vietnamese pho restaurant.
Pho is alright. I had better, but the pho delivered what pho should deliver. (hot broth, noodle cooked just right, good veggies, meat and noodle ratio).
Appetizers are okay. I don’t personally want to get it again. If you want to try an appetizer, try summer roll. I enjoyed it.

Absolutely amazing pho!! I travel all over and always try the Pho and this is some of the best I’ve ever had. The broth is phenomenal, beef bone, chicken bone broth and vegetarian broth are all delicious. The veggie options are tasty as are the regulars. Everything on the menu is amazing, including the appetizers the calamari is proper strip fried calamari, the shrimp are all huge definitely reccomend any seafood option here, and the beef and chicken are also amazing and generous. I haven’t had a dish I didn’t like and I’ve eaten here 2-3 times a week for several months. The owners are super friendly and fantastic and always watching cooking shows to learn how to make their menu even tastier. Truly passionate about what they do, I will miss them when I’m gone and strongly reccomend everyone come here for great eats! Take out options are good too but the food is so fast I prefer to eat in. Cheers & blessings my sacred friends!

Pho Viet is the best Vietnamese Restaurant That I personally dining out weekly while working at Pretty Nails in Lynchburg Virginia…and I have been living in the state since 1992….from spring rolls to combo vermicelli …the taste reminds me of my childhood growing up in Truong Minh Giang Q3 Saigon City in the 80’s….Thank you Pho Viet for that

The hubby and I tried this spot and highly recommend it! We ordered the combination vermicelli bowl, pho Tai nam (#28), and crispy spring rolls. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Only drawback is they don’t serve beer, would have loved to drink a Saigon beer with the meal to complete it. The lady who served us was also really nice (not sure if she’s the owner or what). Will definitely go back!

Edit: Went back again to get takeout for the family. Wonton soup was amazing, summer rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce they came up was delicious. Tried their lemongrass beef and it was delicious – beef was very tender and well flavored, plus a good size portion. Also ordered some grilled pork and rice dish, which I thought was alright (a little on the vinegary side for me) but my husband who ordered it really liked it. I have yet to be disappointed by anything on their menu – and their iced Vietnamese coffee is to die for!!!! Will be making this a regular go-to spot for sure. ♥️
