Haven’t been to a Walt’s in over a decade. Came to this Walt’s after leaving airport. The staff wasn’t the best. They didn’t take our order with urgency and were distracted too. The interior dining area needs an upgrade. Feels like a late 80’s/90s feel to it. Dining room area wasn’t clean and fries were lacking flavor. The roast beef sandwich was solid. Wish workers were more focused on customers than themselves.

I was probably the first customer there on Sat. No one in the place, I ordered Walt’s roast beef combo med. $ 10.80 later the roast beef was put into the microwave because I heard it start up. It was dry, the French fry were well done , horrible for the money. Not what I remember what it used to taste like . Maybe NOW is the time to serve fish and chips like Newport Ave Walt’s does….. since your next door business closed …….Rocky Point chowder house closed…..food for thought.

If i could give them zero stars i would! Starting with customer service…they lack customer service skills in all areas! How can they just close up 45 minutes to an hour early? They were supposed to be open until 7 today yet the store was a ghost town at 6pm!!! At this point I’ll just take the trip to the bald hill location as they follow posted hours and don’t seem annoyed that people want food

Absolutely amazing meal. I had the hot and spicy which was absolutely perfect and flavorful. Oh and it was actually spicy! It was missing nothing. The fries are solid as well. The worst part is I may not be able to try the other sandwiches because the one I had was so good!

I stop once a week. Dogs love it, too. This location is run by a family. They are great. So sweet and kind. And animal lovers, too. My Walt’s is always cooked perfectly. One of the very best places to pick up and go on Post RD.

Walt’s has the best roast beef sandwiches you will ever eat. The meat is flavorful and the buns melt in your mouth. The fries are pretty good too, but it’s the roast beef sandwiches that you’ll remember. The service is good too. I was in and out with my order in 5-10 minutes.

A few years ago, this place had just ok roast beef sandwiches. I would have given them a 1 star rating, maybe. But I stopped in recently and the roast beef was delicious!!! Tender, fell apart in my mouth, everything I want from a great roast beef place. I’m only giving it 3 stars in case the consistency is bad. I will increase from 3 stars if I go back a few times and it’s just as good as it was when I had my sandwich yesterday.

In a new building, went right at noon and it wasn’t very busy although the drive through seemed steady and only two employees (one cooking) I’m sure it was difficult. 4 stars just because to me 5 stars has a “wow” factor. This place was absolutely fine and I will return for sure, no knock rating it a 4.

I go here for my bf. He loves their Walt’s roast beef/cheese. I’ve had their fish sandwich before which is good. Keep in mind they now close at 6pm on Sun; Google says they close at 7pm. Window clerk was so nice and did take everyone at the window, even though it was past 6pm.

So Walts Roast beef is a fast food style chain restaurant, and as far as chain restaurants go, it does its job well. This store is a little difficult with its location on a very busy main road but the store is always clean the food is always what one would expect. I have nothing to complain about regarding this location or this chain whenever I have a craving for a Walts Roast beef sandwich this is the store I goto if I’m at home when I want on as it’s close to me and has never let me down.
