There for the Alumni kickoff festivities. Very nice atmosphere, food and drink service was very slow, but the staff were polite. We reserved a booth so seating was plentiful. All and all, very nice time.

809 is a vibe ⭐ beautiful bar & grill. They’re only open Thurs, Fri & Sat. Free entry before 10:30pm. I usually I don’t go bc I was focused on the thought that a lot of young people party here. However, I went last night & EVERYTHING was top tier the DJ was he studied the room & played music accordingly our server was nothing short of amazing the “leg spreader mixed drink & 809 bomb shot got us right nie, let’s talk about the cook, CHRIS WARE. The man is the baddest in the city & I stand on that you have to know him to know why every business owner wants him in their restaurant. He’s also the master rock star grill op at WH on Westover Rd. The season on them wings was so delicious. He cooked them to perfection. Them lemon pepper wings did what they were suppose to do I had to tip the guy❗huge shout out to 809. I do recommend going bc I’ll definitely be going back….I had to give you guys an update: they are now open Tues-Sat (happy hour 5-9)

Music and Karoke night was awesome. My food order was wrong and the manager wouldn’t do anything about it Dodge me the whole night. Wouldn’t fix it or refund my money. That’s my only complaint. But the DJ, music, atmosphere was awesome. Will definitely keep going back just for that not the food!!!

The Thursday night Karaoke hostess and host did a great job keeping the crowd involved. There were over 1000 songs from all genres of music. I had a problem with my order, and they corrected it immediately without making me feel like I was wasting their time. If you don’t like to feel the music in your ears, sit far away from the speakers. The DJ plays music that the crowd wants. Haven’t heard your favorite song, ask. There’s even a small dance floor.

Went there at 9pm. Was only 2 dudes in the place sitting at a table on their phones. Security ran up like he was Debo and asked for $10 each. There was nothing going on and only 2 people. I told him we were just in town and wanted to have a could drinks and he wouldn’t let us in without charging $10 cover.
We drove to house of blues where it was at least 50 people and they only charged $5 each person. Drinks were only $5. I’ll never go to 809 EVER!
