In this nice neighborhood mall in San Dimas Hills this is the only Japanese restaurant. The bento sets on the menu are good value. I suggest ordering the cooked food or the rolls rather than the sushi or sashimi. Service was very nice. There is plenty of parking on the shopping mall lot.

I moved to the area about 4 years ago when I first tried this restaurant and honestly, I was not impressed during my first visit. I distinctly remember trying it again during the pandemic. I had oysters that time and they were horrible so I thought I would never go back. However, it’s close to home and very convenient for me so I decided to give it another chance, post-pandemic, and it was excellent. I’ve been back 4 or more times after that and the restaurant has been consistently great so I am glad that I gave it another chance. The sushi has been so fresh, the rolls are delicious, the service is fast & friendly, and the atmosphere is very quaint. There are some other local sushi restaurants that have more of a party vibe with loud music, which I like on occasion, but I like coming here sometimes for a nice, peaceful meal with the family without having to wait in a long line, even during peak hours.
During my last visit we had the spicy garlic edamame, miso soup, albacore sashimi, Summer roll (crab meat wrapped with tuna, salmon, albacore, no rice), Sunset Action roll (salmon, crab meat, avocado, albacore on top), and the Sweet 16 (lightly fried red snapper with spicy crab on top of a shrimp tempura roll). All of them were delicious, but my favorite was the Summer roll.

We left raging waters and wanted sushi. This place was close by and there was no wait for a party of 7 on a Saturday. They seem to do a lot of to go orders and delivery. The food was very good and the service was on point. Highly recommend.

I been coming here for a long time. Order the same thing. I went over the order 3 times with the person on the phone and confirmed the order sashimi salad plus sushi and bento box. I drove out and picked up the order and when I got home they gave my a seaweed salad instead. When I called and asked what happened they said oh sorry. I asked and went over the order again and they continued to say sorry then got someone else on the phone and said I can go back and bring the seaweed salad and pay the difference for the sashimi salad. Wow! Customer service is terrible, you would think for the inconvenience they would understand but they were not willing to do anything for the mistake they made except say sorry and have me drive 20 miles again there and back. It was like pulling teeth just to get someone to even ask what to do about the mistake. Not only that, you could hear them going back and forth about what to do and laugh about it. I do not recommend this place, if you do go please double and triple check your order. Don’t expect any understanding from them except the word sorry.

Tried this place for the first time today, SO GOOD! I had the chicken katsu. It came with rice, a salad, and miso soup. The salad had a really nice dressing. The sauce for the chicken was kind of smoky? So so good. Will be coming back. 🙂

We’ve lived near this restaurant for many years but didn’t eat sushi until the last couple of years. Once we started eating sushi we started frequenting OSushi several times per week. The food is delicious, service is great, atmosphere is friendly, and your meal gets to you quickly. We’ve compared this restaurant to many highly regarded ones near and outside the area but everything about OSushi is so good there’s no reason to go anywhere else. This is our favorite!

A friend recommended this place to me, and I am so glad they did. It was AMAZING. We had the Firestone and another I cannot recall, but they were both incredible. I really liked the Firestone, some would say it is hot, but not so much for me (I eat Ghost Peppers)
Mike the owner was very attentive and made us feel welcome and appreciated. This is the kind of place I like going to for sushi, rather than chains or restaurants that offer sushi along with a everything else.
