This review is based on the service and subpar food.
I usually won’t write bad reviews for small
Business owners, because I understand how difficult it is to run a business. However, my horrific experience with this business’s management and food quality necessitated this review.
My boyfriend and I waited almost two hours for our food, which was delivered soggy, mushy, and tasted like oil. I called the Ave M location to discuss the status of our order, and instead of receiving professionalism, the person who picked up not only attempted to challenge my intelligence, but also told me our order issue is Uber’s problem, and that he would not provide his name for me to discuss his lack of professionalism with management. I advised him that the food would be cold as it had been two hours. He did not care. I asked to speak with management about this issue, but he refused and hung up the phone in my face.
We paid almost $65 for our food, which was not worth even a quarter of that price. In this economy, I would advise people to beware of this location. They do not value their customers, and the food is atrocious.

I stopped by on 10.09.25 to get a Premium Burger and a Burger Wrap, I meant to put garlic mayo, but must of accidentally selected spicy mayo without realizing.
The wrap was so hot I starting coughing non stop.
I went back there to speak to someone at about 9pm, I approached the Mexican Cook who is the head honcho, and asked politely why my wrap was so incredibly spicy I ordered a regular burger wrap (he said they didn’t make spicy wraps, even though it’s on the menu), and then he pulls out a receipt brings it to my face and tells me in the most condensing tone “You can’t read?” you ordered spicy mayo inside, I explained I selected garlic mayo on the machine but must of mixed them up, I was about to ask why even if it’s spicy mayo it was so HOT basically like eating pepper spray, he didn’t let me utter a word, and for a second time article the receipt in my face and tells me “You can’t read English? You wanted spicy mayo!” his Mexican coworker buddies are now laughing at me. I order here fairly often and they’ve seen me many times, I live down the block, I was so insulted by this man’s tone and reaction that I was was shocked that someone would speak that way to a customer. Unfortunately the Mashgiach must of left for the night, because I know he would make it rite.
Shame on this Mexican manager/head honcho, you don’t treat customers in such a manner. He is ruining the reputation of the entire restaurant with his nasty attitude unprovoked. And I just read a bunch of similar comments from this same location that people order regular burger and her spicy. He must of realized his mistake and tried to turn it on me and blame it on my reading skills and spicy mayo. There is no way it was a spicy mayo issue, the burger itself is Like pepper spray.

Its not my first time ordering from Joseph’s burger. We order almost every few weeks and we also eat there. I never have complaints usually their food is delicious and they always follow the special instructions on the order.
The only special instructions i always make sure to write down is to cook the meat well done or very well done. I get sick if i eat it raw.
Today i ordered a burger salad and i asked for the burger to be well done. My husband picked up the order and didn’t double check.
To my surprise all the meat was raw inside and I couldn’t eat it. This is very upsetting because i am a very loyal customer been going there for past 7 years and now i need to find another burger place in my area.

I’ve been ordering from here for years. Today, my wife’s burger was pink on the inside/underdone/raw (depending where you bite). We called and were told “that’s how it comes from the manufacturer” and the owner/manager refused to budge. I pointed out that my burger was fine and he didn’t seem to care.
I have spent hundreds on their burgers over the years, but they can’t even have a basic amount of courtesy when they make a mistake rather than doubling down on nonsense excuses about the manufacturer.
Edit: After returning to try and return/exchange the raw burger the owner/manager threw it in my face and put me in an ambulance with how hard he threw it.

Chicken it’s terrible I had it twice and it’s bad. It’ very rubbery and weird , I think they keep it frozen for long time. Not worth it $20, I will find a different place to eat..never again ..

The burgers are definitely top notch, top tier, top everything. The service can be slow but the staff tries to accommodate you. The atmosphere is a small nook and cranny place.

The young man at the checkout was very polite. The food is not very tasty, very dry and the meat is cut in too large pieces. The manager does not know how to handle guests, he did not behave professionally. I will not order food from them.
