Gumby’s Pizza: The Post-Trip Comfort Food You Didn’t Know You Needed
Just got back from a long trip and needed something cozy to settle back in—Gumby’s delivered (literally and figuratively). We ordered through DoorDash, which was super easy, and the driver was great about keeping in touch. Smooth process from start to finish.
This time we opted not to get pepperoni since it can sometimes feel a bit too oily for us, and honestly? Solid move. If you’ve ever felt the same, I definitely recommend trying a different topping combo—it made the whole pie feel lighter but still just as satisfying.
As you can see from my photos… I only remembered to snap them after the pizza was already half gone. I think that says enough.
Also ordered the 12 Pokey Dots—and let’s just say there were only 3 left by the time I took a picture. They’re just really tasty, cheesy clumps of doughy goodness. You’ve been warned.
The crust is that perfectly chewy, comforting kind that hits the spot after a long week (or a long flight). Gumby’s really is that reliable go-to when you want to feel full, happy, and a little nostalgic.
What to order:
– 12 pokey dots
– 14” build your own pizza (for a normal sized pizza)
Pro tip: if you’re looking for a smaller pizza for 1 person, then they also have 10” or 12” as well. I really like how it’s so customizable.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY HERE. Food still tastes pretty good, but the service is SLOW, and tonight, after multiple calls over the last THREE hours, I find out the pizza has been on the front porch for an hour and is frozen solid. No knock/doorbell, no call, no text, and no apology when I asked about it. My favorite pizza won’t ever be ordered again.

Maybe it was the starvation I was feeling but the pizza and dessert from Gumby’s was soooo good. The pizza came out so hot the toppings were sliding off the crust (a good thing to me!) And the dessert… Oh my word! I’m not a sweets fan but goodness I could’ve ate the whole dessert pie if I hadn’t ate so much pizza first!

I ordered two pizzas and some sides from this business on 05-17-25. When they arrived the pizzas had been tipped. One of them was still alright, but on the other most of the toppings had slid off the pizza. I called to complain, got the manager, and he said he’d send me a replacement. When I got that pizza it was ALSO tipped, and the toppings had slid off that pizza. I called again, and the manager (never got his name) told me he’d give me a coupon for a free extra-large specialty pizza for any future order. He said it would be tied to my phone number, and would show up if I called in a new order. But when I called today to place an order, the guy I spoke to (different person) said he didn’t see any notes about a free pizza, and refused to give me that offer. When I asked to speak to a manager he said he was one. He also refused to give me his name.

Gumby’s is my new favorite delivery pizza. I mean by god I’ve order 10 pies in just this last month. My favorite 2 topping combo is sausage and jalapeno. I’ll dunk a whole one of those large pies in the glorious bath that is the Gumby’s garlic sauce. Can’t recommend this establishment enough. Fantastic pizza, incredible employees, and it never gets old.

Have had their pizza a handful of times now and every time it’s delicious. We really like the Maui Wowwie. Service has been polite and prompt for pick up. Atmosphere got a 4, because it could use some love, but it’s not really a dine in place. Love the old Gumby character and posters hung.
