I really like this place. Their food is good and reasonably priced, the staff is nice, and their food portions are huge. You have the option to order a lunch size of the pasta dishes, and the lunch size is still very generously portioned and less money too. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed and has an old fashioned feel. The building has a history. If you go be sure to ask your server about it.

It a great meal. We had a party of 13 and it took a little time to get orders going but it was a busy night. Our waitress was serving a number of table so we did not have her full attention. The food was superb, wonderful portions and most had a second meal to take home. Even a group of young men had come in rather that doing burger and fries. Highly recommended.

Ordered pizza from here twice now, and both times have been superb. The first time, they burned it and I had to wait an additional 10 or so minutes for the proper version. Worth it. Absolutely worth every penny, and the fact that they refused to give me the ‘whiffed’ pizza shows a lot of integrity. Get the Spicy Italian or the BBQ Chicken.

I’ve eaten at Cafe Allegro regularly for about 20 yrs. Great appetizers, good service, very large dinner portions. Food was a little lacking for a while about 3 yrs ago but excellent again the last few times I’ve been there up to a few months ago. May go there for dinner again tonight, much better than nearly Olive Garden in Lake Oswego.
If they keep up excellent food quality my next few visits, will raise grade to 5 stars

The chicken burger that I had here was pretty good. The fries are definitely below average. The truffle oil doesn’t make up for them.
My biggest problem would be the slow service. It took 30 minutes to get my chicken burger when the restaurant wasn’t very busy.
My girlfriend’s salad was good but it was completely drenched in dressing.
I might give this place another chance in the future.

Pretty disappointed. I had been here a couple times before and actually liked the food, but this time it was not good. First of all, if I owned an Italian restaurant I would be sure to cook the pasta perfectly. My ravioli was way undercooked and the sauce tasted worse then store bought sauce. It took 20 minutes to get our salads. My husband got the chicken parm with risotto and that was actually pretty good. Probably won’t be back though.

A wonderful Italian restaurant that is on Main St. in Tigard. The food is amazing and the waiters and waitresses are so nice and very courteous. We come here for dinner at least once a month and it is NEVER disappointing. Today we actually went here for a birthday and they put is in the big back room so we didn’t have to worry about being too loud. It was just a great dinner that I look forward to having again and again. I hope that Cafe Allegro stays here for many years to come.

We have been to this restaurant numerous times for late lunch or early dinner, and have always had great service and food. During this visit the food was good but not the customer. We had waiter we had not seen before; his service was only marginal even though we were only one of three tables with customers. Not asking us if we wanted more bread, not removing dirty plates from the table as needed and having to ask for more water is not good customer service. He seemed more interested in checking his smart phone as he walked down the hall from the back dining area. Disappointed with this visit..
