The cuisine at Drusie and Darr by Jean-Georges reflects a passionate commitment to fresh, organic and local ingredients. The restaurant’s modern American menu changes with the seasons, focusing on artisanal and sustainable produce at its peak. Meat, fish and dairy are locally sourced, where possible, from humanely treated, pasture-fed animals free of antibiotics and hormones. In addition to offering the freshest and finest dishes, the design of Drusie and Darr features preserved 1902 Beaux-Arts details such as vaulted ceilings, original oak walls, and a partially open kitchen with modern twists and custom furniture by Thomas Juul-Hansen.

The bar off to the side of Drusie & Darr offer the best of both worlds. Offering a prix fixe, à la carte, and full plates, in a more intimate, bar setting. This is full service dining; our server was attentive, but could be more so. The Beef Tartare is very good, covered in avocado slices. The Warm Shrimp can be an excellent entree with wonderful flavors. The Black Sea Bass was disappointingly slightly overdone, skin on and skin up, making it tougher than necessary. Deserts are small and delicious. The wine list is extensive, and there is a full bar with an emphasis on bourbon.

Drusie and Darr was such an exceptional experience! They must be used to having guests visit before T-PAC shows because they were extremely efficient and got us out the door before the show started. We went during the last week of their summer menu, which had really delicious and fresh vegetables that we enjoyed. The tomato and strawberry salad was absolutely phenomenal, as was the crispy sushi. We also got the squash blossom pizza that was so well done that I’ve thought about it several times since. The building is absolutely stunning and the decor was beautiful. I can’t wait to come back!

First, the GM greeted us and he is a doll! If you want an amazing server see Rebecca. We started with the corn soup with a little heat and of course my favorite avocado added in. Then we had the octopus ( sorry). I had the shrimp salad…. Omg Rebecca was right best salad ever! The flavors and marinade were amazing. Jason had these sea bass Asian style reduction. We finished with the sundae that had all fresh and on premises ingredients and I had the coconut cake with passion fruit sorbet which was amazing.
The bathrooms are historic, Elvis in the men’s and still Pricilla will visit. Had an amazing time! Thanks to the GM and of course Rebecca!!!

The food is exceptional— especially the egg toast. We had the chef’s tasting menu again, and it just keeps getting better.
The hostess was not friendly and completely ignored my special event reservation request for a quiet table— instead, cramming us in the middle of a crowded row of cafeteria style seating, even though the dining room was half empty.
The temperature in the restaurant was painfully cold! Why?? It’s summer — I shouldn’t have to wear a coat to stay warm.

I had my bachelorette here and honestly it could’ve been better. The food was good but i wish they had a wider range of appetizers.

The food was mediocre at best and even worse considering chef’s Jean-Georges’ high standards. Beef tenderloin was tough (impossible for a medium rare). Cauliflower was burned bitter on the bottom. Sea bass was blend. The only good dishes were mushroom pizza and tuna tartare. Drinks were good. Atmosphere and service were great. Overall a disappointing experience.

Fantastic Friday evening dining experience with the family. Valet steps from the door of the beautifully decorated Hermitage hotel. Ambient lighting throughout, this modern yet retro feeling vibe was warm and inviting. The highlights of our meal were tuna tartar, delicious salmon, and lava cake. Do not miss the cocktails, spirit forward and absolutely amazing! Seriously, all four that came to our table were 10 out of 10. Our wait staff, Taylor & Brennan were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would recommend D&D and absolutely plan to return in the future.

This place is beautiful. Great vegan options. The avocado pizza and salad was my favorite. The servers are extremely knowledgeable of the food and very polite. My water was never empty. They bussed the table promptly and boxed the food for us. Everyone seemed to work extremely well together. The food and plating is gorgeous. Everything was delicious. Leslie was our server and she was amazing!

I had the most delicious meal here by myself on Canadian Thanksgiving. The arugula Brussels sprouts salad was delicious. The meatballs were awesome…granted, it’s hard to mess that up, but regardless, they were ssssoooo good. I finished with the hot chocolate cake, which presented really nicely and was tasty. When I got the bill, I was surprised about how reasonably priced it was. The damage was more limited than anticipated Service was kind, professional and efficient. The atmosphere is fun… of course, being by myself, I did more people watching than I typically would and it was beautiful.
