This has been my go to for ordering Chinese Food in Red Deer, for the past 7yrs. or so..
The food is always tasty, and great portions.
Today I ordered the Shanghai Noodles for pick up, that I was craving real bad, because they have the best in town! It’s just what I needed, and this dish hit the spot once again ..yum!
I’ve tried a few other Chinese food restaurants in town too!
But in my personal opinion China Ben’s is the best! 🙂

China Ben is a hidden gem! Best Chinese buffet I’ve had in a long time! The flavors make your taste buds stand up and take notice. At China Ben they care about quality in every dish. It’s a smaller selection than the more common buffets in Red Deer but the desserts are way better. There was pecan pie, which is a personal favorite. IMO It is the best buffet in town! Don’t just take my word for it get ur butt up there urself! Get there early cut it fills up fast.

It’s been years since I visited China Ben’s. Food was good, their ginger beef has some heat to it. Missed not having deep fried shrimp, but the chicken balls were hot and fresh in the buffet. Service was excellent.

The best salt and pepper seafood. I moved to Calgary but crave this dish and drive back for this every so often. Nothing in Calgary has even come close to this salt and pepper dish. It’s very tasty and you get a nice variety of shrimp, squid and scallop. Generous portion size. 10/10 would recommend.

Just a small sample of their delicious buffet! My friend says the deep fried offerings, wings, dry ribs, shrimp, and chicken balls all tender and tasty! Vegetables fresh and so good! The restaurant is nothing fancy(in a strip mall) but it’s clean, tidy and all the food was very good! Oh, yes, let’s not forget the lovely assortment of dessert tidbits to finish off our meal! Super affordable,as well. Gets busy at lunch time, locals know about this place! We will be back!!!
