This place is incredible! Absolutely beautiful and in a gorgeous location at the base of the mountain. The food is delicious with both gluten-free and vegan options already on the menu. I’ve eaten dinner here twice already in my 4 days in Aspen. The chef, Alexis, is really talented. He understands how to balance intense and beautiful and diverse flavors across hearty bison chili, Korean fried cauliflower, and Baja miso cod tacos. The prices seem almost unfair in how affordable this restaurant is for the quality you’re getting. Also come take photos here for sure. It’s super cute and lends itself well to photo ops. Alsooooo the service is so top notch. Incredibly attentive servers who seem to go above and beyond. Don’t miss this experience while you’re visiting Aspen.

This place should be gone. Logistics: they don’t have a working phone number or a website? Drinks: 20 mins to get a glass of wine. Got my wine and the glass legit stuck to my hand it was so dirty. Bartender was hammered. Also, saw a different table get a beer poured on them because the server poured the beer like an 18 year old in a glass and half the beer foamed over. Food: don’t know, left this restaurant and begged to find a different reservation. Do not come. Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to.

Went there for a drink and some food with my family. We are from Australia and my id on hand was my drivers licence. Rude bar man said “what even is this”, then asked me for my passport – reasonable. When I told him I didn’t have it on me he rudely replied “then how did you even get here”, I restated that I didn’t have it on hand before being refused service – such a rude interaction. We left and cancelled dinner our booking for tomorrow.

39 Degrees at the W Hotel is not reliable for reservations. I made a reservation online ahead of time on Opentable for my friend’s birthday party celebration and secured it with a credit card. The evening before the reservation I started receiving multiple phone calls without a voicemail from a CO phone number. It was the W cancelling our reservation for 8 people for tomorrow because they would be closed for a private party. Totally unprofessional. They had a last minute buyout? I bet they just forgot to block the date on opentable.
Do you know how difficult it is to find a table in Aspen for 8 people last minute? Close to impossible. A manager should at least had apologized properly. But it was “sorry guys, we have a buyout tomorrow and have to cancel your reservation, bye.” An example of poor hospitality.

Great place that is quite popular in the winter for apres as well as in the summer for lounging around the pool area. Hip place with lots of people most of the time and a good party atmosphere.

We loved racking out here after the concerts and long days at the Aspen Festival. Totally reasonable place to have a couple drinks in the pool and/or jacuzzi and we really liked the staff. Tip your waiters, people!!

Cancelled our reservation with 3 hours notice. This was a Saturday night reservation for 6, and was a birthday dinner for one in our group. We found out via email with no call or effort to alert us. It’s nearly impossible to find another reservation with such short notice.
