I’ve given this place a couple of tries. When I think Thai, I anticipate vibrant fragrances and bold flavors. I ordered garlic chicken w steamed rice. The garlic sauce was watered-down. Mixed with the rice it was basically soup. The flavor was lack luster by all means. On a positive note, the spring rolls, sprung.
It is afternoon and this was delivery. I am not sure if that makes a difference but it’s a, No for me.

Crazy Thai Restaurant is amazing! The food is very delicious and full of flavor. Everything tastes fresh and authentic. The service is friendly, and the staff are very nice and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is great.
I highly recommend Crazy Thai Restaurant if you want to enjoy great Thai food. I will definitely come back again

Best Thai restaurant in Richmond area, by far! Crazy burger was awesome. Green curry was The Best we’ve ever had, and the Pad Thai and papaya salad were off the charts as well! Good prices with big portions. Good indoor seating and a beautiful patio as well.

Have only been for takeout when in Richmond. However any time we’ve had food from here the flavor is just so, so impressive. Of course, their pad thai is good- but their panang curry is FANTASTIC. Their prices are the most reasonable in the City as far as any thai place we’ve tried here.
Only criticism i have is the garden rolls we got last time weren’t softened enough- the noodle was hard like they didn’t dip the rice paper enough, but that is okay, it happens. Crazy thai is regularly coming in with good food.

This may be the gem of the city! Wow.. the prices are amazing, food came out quick and delicious and the service was top notch!! Happy hour is 5-8 with 3$ bottle beers and lots of choices. We loved our appetizers (spring rolls & steamed dumplings)! The pad Thai and cashew nut chicken were both excellent options! Don’t skip out on this place! I also hope that not too many people know about it 🙂

First time here. Nice friendly place. Low noise good for relaxing and enjoying your meal or work while you wait for your food. I had the chicken pad Thai and spring rolls. Would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed eating here and the prices are fairly low compared with the other places around here. I got the wings and the pork basil rice which came up to ~$20. The wings are actually fairly good and the rice had a nice taste, making this a great spot for lunch.
I’ve had takeout here before with the curries and they are both delicious and very spicy.

Ordered Takeout . The spring rolls were bland and the Pad Tai had decent flavor but I have gotten bad food poisoning from this place. I have been stuck in my Airbnb for 18 hrs

Delicious food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Well located on Cary St and only a short 15 min walk from most downtown hotels. I visited on a Monday night and no booking was required. The food was terrific; I can definitely recommend the gyoza and pad thai with chicken and shrimp. They were both amazing!
