We ordered takeout twice from Basil Thai Cuisine and it was really good. Our favorites are the Pad See Ew and the Pad Thai. The service was very prompt, around 10 minutes, and the flavor was great for the red curry, pad thai, and pad see ew. The dry noodles are more flavorful and tasty than the soup noodles. Definitely give this a try if you want a break from American Cape food!

Was very excited to try this place until I tried two different soups and was disappointed in both of them. The broth was extremely plain almost like water, no flavor. The vegetables seemed fresh but the chicken tasted old. Has good potential but lacks flavor.

Take out only, they were fast and friendly.
The green curry was white and not much basil or green curry seasoning. Not jasmine rice, but plain white rice. They did add enough heat as we asked. Pad se ew was much better.

It’s not the worst thai food I’ve ever had, but all of the portions were tiny, the individual pieces of appetizers were tiny, and all the sauces were watered down. The sauce on my pad thai was so watered down that the dish was white (it’s supposed to be brown).

I wanted to love this place! I’m wondering if we just picked a wrong night to go – later on a Saturday night. The food was FRESH, no doubt, so I’ll give them that. With all the fried food options on the cape, it’s really nice to see green on my plate. But the dishes we ordered – fresh rolls, scallion pancakes, vegetarian fried rice and ginger chicken – were all lacking a lot of flavor. Maybe we ordered the wrong things? Anyways, we’ll check it out again next time we’re in town despite our taste buds’ disappointment.
