This was our first visit to the new Cooper’s Hawk winery and restaurant in Western Hills. It turned out to be an awesome choice!
While we awaited our table, we were able to sample the wine which we took to our table.
McKenzie and Olivia welcomed us and explained the menu. We opted for a bottle of Cabernet which they put in the very classy aerator for us to enjoy during the meal.
The potstickers and the drunken shrimp proved to be excellent appetizers while we enjoyed the Cabernet. I suggest you split the wedge salad, which is huge and very fresh.
We struggled to choose our entrées-the grilled heirloom pork ribeye was absolutely exceptional
The filet as well as the surf & turf were fine choices as well
Olivia and McKenzie were attentive and fun
Derek, the manager kindly stop by to make sure that everything was outstanding for us. I told him we would be back next month and I certainly will opt for that heirloom pork ribeye!

Can’t say enough good things about the new Green Township CH! We celebrated my wife’s birthday with drinks, salads, pastas, and desserts. The pastas were served piping hot , which was much appreciated. Everything was delicious and we took enough home for another meal. Service was friendly and efficient – sometimes a second person even checked in on us when our main server was busy. The atmosphere on this Monday night was “energetic” (loud) though we did have a larger party by us. Keep up the great work on the West Side!

Great new location!! It’s beautiful inside and as always the food and wine did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and Adam was a great server! They offer free tastings of the Barrel Reserve which we loved. There’s plenty of parking and the tasting bar was spacious. Highly recommend checking out this new location if you’re on the West Side!

Omg it started off not so good but way to go to MANAGEMENT resolved my issue and got me seated immediately God bless. My waiter Anna Marie was so pleasant and great on service. The atmosphere is so nice a great well deserved night should be celebrated here. The pear martini was so good and lasted me through out my meal the Caesar salad is my favorite and of course the eggs rolls extra cashew sauce ❤️ Yes really enjoyed myself thanks for the great hospitality….

It was a little shaky at first. I made a reservation for 415 i got there and the hostess acted as if I wasn’t standing there. She happily helped others who didn’t even have a reservation. I went to the other hostess who checked me in. But again I had to ask after 15 min of waiting and watching them seat others when my table would be ready. Very frustrating its the 2nd time I’ve been to Coopers Hawk (1st at this location) and service wasn’t the best. Now don’t get me wrong I know it’s newly opened but still. We are finally seated and our waitress Melissa was great. She was just the right amount of attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. She gets 5 stars! The food was very good. Loved the mashed potatoes. As a white wine drinker I was pleasantly surprised when it was recommended that I try the barrel reserve which is a red wine. It turned out to be my favorite. Highly recommend it. Paired nicely with the steak and the BBQ brisket flat bread.
It’s a little noisy but we were able to have a conversation without any trouble. If you wanna try this place I suggest going before 5 and definitely making reservations. I would’ve given 5 stars had I not felt completely ignored when I approached the hostess stand.

Having visited Cooper’s Hawk locations elsewhere, I was eager to see how the new Cincinnati location on Harrison Avenue measured up. My wife and I joined another couple for a post-Christmas celebration, and while the experience had its ups and downs, the service and the “Chef’s Recommendations” truly stole the show.

The venue was packed—which is to be expected for the holidays—but the acoustics were surprisingly impressive. Despite the crowd, our group of four could hold a conversation without raising our voices. One small tip for the “seasoned” crowd: the lighting is atmospheric (read: dim), so keep your phone flashlights handy to navigate the extensive menu!

Our table had very different experiences depending on what was ordered:

Positives: My buddy and I both opted for the Filet Medallions with Crab-Stuffed Lobster Tail from the Chef’s menu. It was, in a word, fantastic. In fact, we both found ourselves taking smaller and smaller bites just to make the experience last as long as possible.

Negatives: Our wives were less impressed. One ordered the Plain Salmon, which she found somewhat underwhelming and “just okay.” The other tried the Spaghetti and Meatballs, but the dish didn’t land well—the noodles were far too thick for her preference, and the combination of cheese and toppings didn’t hit the mark.

The absolute highlight of the night was our server, Ciara. She was incredibly upbeat and possessed an impressive, deep knowledge of the entire menu.

I’m particularly sensitive to “table clutter,” and after mentioning this to her once, she was on top of it all night. Empty plates and glasses vanished almost instantly. To be honest, her professionalism and personality were the main reasons I decided to officially join the Wine Club before we left.

While the standard fare (salmon and pasta) didn’t quite wow the ladies, the premium steak and seafood options were top-tier. Between the superb ambiance and Ciara’s world-class service, I will definitely be back. Next time, I’m planning to try the Soy Ginger Salmon to see if it provides that extra “kick” the plain version lacked.

This place is great but if you are looking for your friend “Cooper” or a hawk, you will be disappointed. They have wine and good food but I didn’t see a single hawk in there. Not sure what hawk meat tastes like but I might have ate some, if so it was good. I would 100% eat hawk again but can’t imagine they have enough Hawks to feed people at a restaurant. I once saw a hawk swoop down on the side of the road and grab a mouse or some other woodland creature. Let me tell you, it was dope. They didnt label anything on their menu as hawk meat but if they are hiding ii somewhere or naming it something else, im not mad and enjoyed their hawk meat mystery food. As far as the Cooper thing… I once saw a show that was called “Hanging with Mr Cooper”. He was 100% not there nor did I see anyone that looked like him. Would have been cool to see him but must have been a different Cooper. You can join their wine club, great deal. However, there aren’t meet ups or get togethers and you dont get a vest or anything other than a card. Still cool and would recommend.

Always a great experience. We have been in several times and feel like we are being treated like part of the Coopers Hawk family on every visit. What a great addition to the Westside. Our favorite tasting attendants Matthew, Cole, Alyssa and Angela always do such a great job. Morgan is awesome behind the bar. The entire wait staff and host/hostesses have always been accommodating!
