Kinneret Pizza is a classic, no-frills spot that feels like it’s been around forever—probably 70 years. The crust is solid, the sauce has an interesting twist, but not the best, and the cheese is plentiful. Great by the slice.
The fries? Amazing. Big, fat, crispy—exactly how they should be.
Service is quick and a person behind counter is little curt, but it fits the old-school vibe. Prices are on the high side.
Went at 5 PM, and it was quiet and pleasant.

The pizza was good, and the sides were fantastic. The onion rings had a delicious batter and were perfectly cooked. The poutine fries changed my life, I could eat them everyday. It was super busy, ordering ahead if you know what you want will save some time.

We took local delivery of my first Kinneret Pizza last evening, topped with vegetables like green olives, onions, fresh mushrooms, and green peppers. It was super: Hot, and incredibly flavorful with complex tastes and aromas. I don’t think I ever had anything so good, and it was not a thin-crust pizza (previously my favorite)! The crust was flavorful like a freshly baked loaf of bread, both soft and crunchy at the same time! Can’t say too much good about Kinneret Pizza. Worth a trip from New York or beyond!

Look, you have to understand that there are only a few options for kosher pizza in Cleveland. If you live here, this pizza is the best in town. If you come from out of town, specifically from the tri state where quality kosher pizza abounds, the food is, well, mediocre. The pizza is nothing special, and sometimes (I think it may be because they don’t seem to ever clean the oven) it has this weird, off taste. Again, compared to a place like Issi’s Place, Kinneret wins hands down. But on its own merit, it doesn’t really stand up to the standards of great quality I’ve come to expect from pizza in New York. Also, the service is painfully slow, and the people behind the counter can frankly be quite rude sometimes. I’d also suggest coming in through the front – the back entrance has a permanent unpleasant odor.

1. Way overpriced. (Let’s remember that this is a cheese/ fish restaurant and there is not expensive kosher meat to buy.);
2. The floor was FILTHY. I have really seen cleaner floors on construction sites/ loading docks;
3. After all that expense, the food was not all that great. I bought some ziti for my wife and it was essentially some pasta, spaghetti sauce and cheese for $8.50;
4. Service was not all that great.
Will not be back. I think that these positive reviews are by friends/ family members. Or maybe the owners kids.

Got a falafel here today. The pita was very soft and fresh, and it tasted authentic. The price was very reasonable too.

Kinneret is a Cleveland staple and has been open since I was a kid. Amazingly they have retained the same great taste all these years!

My daughter and I stopped in, and each got a slice of pizza. Thin crust New York style very good pizza!

Anyone posting anything negative about Kinneret obviously has no idea what this establishment is to the Jewish community. It’s the closest thing that Cleveland has to an iconic kosher restaurant. Also, there’s an art to ordering wherever you go, no matter what restaurant it is, there are things on the menu that aren’t great, fortunately, Kinnerets best item is pretty self-explanatory… It’s the pizza. So, in short, if you’re looking for great pizza that happens to be kosher, check out Kinneret.
