The taste of the kimchi spam musubi was completely overpowered by the layer of seaweed. The original also did little to convert me into a fan. Presentation gets high marks.

i got the spicy salmon musubi but honestly it was so unwieldy and the texture so unenjoyable i could not finish it. the salmon itself was fine, but the filling was messy and the added serrano peppers interrupted the smooth texture of rice and salmon with crunchiness. the temperature also seemed to be varying, one bite was warm and the other cool. overall, if you like poké, this place sounds ok. but for a musubi roll or something simple like rice balls with filling, the taste can be overwhelming with too many elements and an uncomfortable texture.

I tried the musubi here and was honestly impressed. The rice is perfectly cooked, the spam is flavorful and nicely grilled, and everything is wrapped tightly so it’s easy to enjoy without falling apart. The taste is well-balanced — not too salty, not too dry — just right.

Spam musubi are usually my comfort food and this place made it even better. I got the kimchi and double egg spam musubi. It was super delicious. We always come here whenever we’re at Tysons mall.

I liked it. I chickened out from getting a SPAM offering and opted for the loco moco which is hamburger, egg, and a delicious brown gravy on the side. I’d get a combo which is much better value than a large carte.

I’m not too picky, but if you pay for something it better be at least decent. Service is just ok, but food is awful. $10 is insanely expensive for food of this quality. How do you mess up rice? The rice was dry and slightly hard (still edible but definitely needed more water or something). The steamed buns (savory and sweet) taste like they are a week old. Super dry bread and barely any filling.

This has been one of my favorite spots for years! I love their OG Super Size Musubi with eggs and spam! Tried their Ube rice Krispy today, too! So good!

The food is amazing. But charging $10 and up is too much. Especially considering that they are $5 from a 7/11 in actual Hawaii. Also you have to order and pay yourself using a kiosk which has the nerve to ask you for tip! Asking for a tip when there isn’t actually any service should be criminal all you did was make the food, which is what the money is for.

Another trend. A $9 Musubi supersized with lots of steamed rice which dries up when it’s cold. Mostly rice, so it’s not as tasty as it should. I guess location also made it as expensive as everything else in the food court, costs are as much as a sit-in restaurant. Rice bowl was okay, but still too much for what you get. I’d rather go to a sit-in Japanese or Hawaiian restaurant for the same ingredients, priced better and more delightful.
