I got the banana split, didn’t know that it comes with mold banana plus the banana skin! It sucks that places don’t care about their customers anymore!! Thank you.

Location closes too early even on weekends. Other locations are open till 11pm. Some people can’t get there in time due to work or other personal matters and would be nice to still have a chance to enjoy a treat at the end of a hot summer night.

Ahh, good old Dairy Queen! I have always thought that their soft serve is the richest and most pleasing. The Torrington stand never disappoints. Fast service at the walk-up window right off the sidewalk. Easy to park in their parking lot. There are no burgers, hot dogs, or other complications here. Just great cones, sundaes, blizzards, and other ice cream treats. Many happy faces are seen here. They close every year in the winter but return around St Patrick’s Day.

Lovely young lady waited on me today. I was getting a small ice cream for my dog to celebrate his birthday. The line was very long when I arrived, but the three servers dispensed with it very quickly. Great, efficient, friendly service. And, the ice cream is really good, to boot!!

I do prefer the DQ up north a little more, its so loud at this location- they always get our order wrong but I think its because they have such a hard time hearing us order. the ice cream is just bland vanilla, or white I should say cuz I don’t think there’s actually any vanilla in it. my daughter buys into the toppings, But I do not.

Outdoor pickup and eat in your car mostly. Ice Cream is very good. Service was excellent For being in the city they do have some parking spaces. We go often.

Typically come here atleast once a month when it’s open, and almost never have a problem.
Tonight, was different.
We come here as a treat, and usually order 2 XL blizzards that I will separate out between my wife and I, and our 4 kids. We usually get 4 additional cups, and 4 additional spoons for the sake of it all looking the same (my son once complained that our cups look different than his when we just scooped some of the blizzard into a cup of ours).
There was a new guy working there that I haven’t seen before. I assume he is the owner.
He told me that they would have to charge me 50 cents each, for the cups w/spoons. This is the first time I have been informed there was a charge, which fine, whatever.
They tried giving me the clear plastic sundae cups, which doesn’t look like a blizzard, so there is no point in me getting those ones. I asked to make sure I received the blizzard cups instead, and the guy who informed me that there was be a charge, then informed me “we normally don’t give these ones out, but we will do it this time).
1. This is clearly not true, as I always get the additional blizzard cups.
2. They are charging me a total of $2, for 4 empty cups and spoons.
3. I didn’t get a spoon for one of the XL blizzards, so had to make due with a normal spoon (which aren’t long enough).
The total cost was $19.

Next time the kids ask about getting blizzards from DQ, I’ll instead go down to the local grocery store, and buy a few quarts things of ice cream for much cheaper, and call it a night. Very disappointed.

Always super friendly at the window and good vibes. It’s DQ ice cream time, and it’s really difficult to mess that up, so count on getting what you expect with a smile! A little pricey for a quick cone, but that seems to be the trend everywhere…and if you’re adventurous and like a good dip cone, now they have blue cotton candy dip. It’s too sweet, but so cool to look at!

My husband got a blizzard and it was so good with right amount of candy in it!!! I give it 5 stars and recommend if u are in Torrington, CT go to the Dairy Queen there & you will be as happy as we were!
