We have ordered from this location for years and mostly loved the pizza and other menu items.
Sometimes they would not make it as ordered, but not often.
One of the problems we have is that they don’t put enough of some toppings on a pizza but put too much of others.
We no longer order anything from them because they don’t deliver their own food anymore and have partnered with DoorDash. What was a $23 plus tip order now cost $47 for a couple of small pizzas and a small salad. We are not about to pay nearly $50 to order pizza. I have a feeling that they will be losing a lot of customers now and won’t be around much longer.

The team at Hungry Howies in East Tawas are a phenomenal crew. They were beyond busy this evening and they replaced my sub with a fresh one because the of the back up no faults on them. Heck its blues by the bay so parking was limited. They gave us a complete refund of our order. Honestly we weren’t expecting a refund period but they went above and beyond. Thank you guys. Your service, food and great attitudes make a business go round. Thank you for another outstanding visit.

Don’t usually…push to make a point, However today’s experience really challenged professionalism and Customer Service. My wife placed an order today, and told the manager that the last pizza we ordered was really bad, and in the past they always prepared the pizza a little bit different at her request because she had a stroke and her dominant side is compromised and so on, OK, with that being said, he made it clear that the pizza’s are made the same each and every time…………….. well, I took the phone from my wife and explained that every time in the past, they honored my wife’s request, and the pizza’s were perfect….He then went on to inform me that he was the manager, and any problems we had would be reviewed, and a store credit would be applied if necessary……I ended this conversation by telling him, I was not going to get into a debate on this, and went to pick up the pizza my wife ordered……..end result….the manager didn’t come out to talk to me, didn’t apologize, offer me a discount, nothing, just charged me full price, and that was it. Well, I guess my business and all I do for the health care staff, nurses, and related businesses through Hungry Howies, isn’t worth the time or effort!!!!!!!!! time to go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!

Food is fine, but it took over an hour for a single pizza and wing pick up. Upon entering the second time to check on food, I wasn’t even greeted. Staff was moving slow, and two other customers said they were not acknowledged as well.

The Howie 5-0. I highly recommend it. When you’re just tired of pepperoni and cheese… And want to spice thing’s up…. YEAH!:That is your Best choice. The sides of my nose are still sweating. And I have never been a fan of pineapple on a pie! It just doesn’t make sense, but it tastes soooooo good! You have to try it! Besides that, they have a dessert cookie the size of your head! For less than the price of a number 1, from. Mickey D’s!!! Chocolate chip too!! Idk. There might have been a misunderstanding one time when I called, but there hasn’t been a problem since. The staff is always friendly and willing to engage in a small conversation every time I call. It’s one of those places where you develop a bond with the other person and you look forward to going back and seeing them again. Friendly environment. Good people.

Ordered a few pizzas and an Italian “sub”. Pizzas were ok, and the sub was more of a calzone than a sub. It was fantastic don’t get me wrong, but it was clearly a pizza crust folded in half and not bread.
