What can I say I really got fooled by the reviews. First time trying since the reviews looked so good, but worst Chinese I’ve had in Durham. I only live 5 minutes from the shop, salt and pepper chips arrived freezing cold with no salt and pepper seasoning, just a few onions inside. Crispy chicken seaweed, I called the shop thinking they’d sent me a salt and pepper chicken. Was told to look under the chicken where there was less than a tablespoon of soggy seaweed. When I asked if that was right was told yeah. Chicken was rock hard with no flavour. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was actually really nice which I was glad about because the rest of the food was pretty inedible. Not quite sure what others are ordering to get such nice food. Very frustrated at wasting my money

Our favourite, we travel from Houghton it’s that good.
Great service, the guy on the desk is always super lovely and the food is always amazing. It stays hot on the drive home and is always so delicious. Food hygiene rating is good too – best out of all Chinese takeaways near us.

Probably the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten the fried rice was barely fried. The prawns were absolutely rock solid. The chow mein was just a greasy slop and the chips are reheated cardboard.

Wanted to try somewhere new for a change and would absolutely recommend! We will be ordering again as the food was such high quality and arrived hot. Very happy with the service as the food was slightly late and we had good, friendly communication from the takeaway.
