THE BEST subs! I just found this place recently and it’s my new favorite place to eat! The “Rogue” subs are delicious!!! The staff is great too! Liz helped me today and was really fun to chat with! I just wish they had Diet Pepsi instead of Pepsi Zero, but worth it for the sub!

The subs here are always amazing, we have been driving from the Muskegon area to various locations for many years. Tonight we stopped at the Plainfield location and had the BEST experience! Hugo & Arlyn were fun, nice, respectful and just good people! Our orders were made perfectly while they enteracted with us in such a nice manner! These 2 must be a great asset to Boardwalk Subs! My wife & I were driving our adult kids to the airport tonight and decided we’d eat at Boardwalk since we were already going to be in the GR area. We were originally headed to the one on the Beltline, but we realized they closed earlier & we wouldn’t make it. We saw this location was open later. So glad we stopped here. We had a great dinner (like always) and we had excellent customer service from Arlyn & Hugo. They were friendly to all 4 of us, and also to others coming in after us. It was so refreshing to see these young adults enjoying their jobs and their customers! Keep up the good work everyone!

A little hard to get to due to traffic on Plainfield thanks to construction but it’s so worth it. I walked and immediately greeted with big smiles from Anna, Matt and Arlin. I didn’t feel like they were fake customer service smiles but real and welcoming. Upon entrance I’m acknowledged no matter how busy they are. When it was my turn to place my order, Anna was very respectful and double checked that I did not want onions. I was very confident that my order was correct. I sat down to eat in the building, usually I would just get my meal and go home. But the environment was very lively and had amazing vibes so I decided to eat in. When the first bite hit my taste buds my world was changed. I had always gone to other sub places but now I only go to the boardwalk subs on Plainfield. Matt, Anna, and Arlin were very nice and gave me one of the best and most memorable customer service experiences that I have yet to experience anywhere else.

Matt, Marissa and Tammy were our sandwich artists today. I love the staff, I love the subs, I love the surroundings! I am always greeted and welcomed and have a conversation with the sandwich artist. They are happy and enthusiastic. Today our service was extra fantastic and I honestly just wanted to stay and chat. It’s like I walked into a family members house. Thank you for a great experience! If you haven’t tried Boardwalk subs, you are truly missing out. Try a #8. Get extra pickles. You’ll love it.
