Thai House Restaurant – Loehmann’s Plaza
Reviews
I live in Davis, CA, where we have at least half a dozen Thai restaurants but none come close to Thai House. That’s why we gladly make the drive.
The food here is consistently outstanding it is always fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked with real care. They’re also excellent about adjusting spice levels exactly how you want it.
I always order the Lad Nah (N3), and I can honestly say I have never found another Thai restaurant in any state or even in Thailand that makes it as well as Thai House. It’s exceptional every single time.
Other standout dishes:
• Eggplant dish — absolutely spectacular
• Drunken noodles — flavorful, balanced, and never greasy
• Satay (both beef and chicken) — superb, paired with a truly perfect peanut sauce
They also have a solid wine selection and plenty of cold beer options, which is a nice bonus.
Parking is easy since it’s located in Loehmann’s Plaza, and service is always excellent. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and the owner Vinnie is always upbeat no matter how busy it gets, he makes a point to say hello and make guests feel welcome.
This is hands-down one of the best Thai restaurants around. Highly recommend Thai House — it’s worth going out of your way for.
Is the drunken noodles and a spicy eggplant.. came back for the third time and this time I had pad Thai..yummmm I guess they hate people taking to go orders because they always appear to treat them differently..
The food was ok.
Ordered the pad thai and chicken fried rice. It was not great but it certainly wasn’t bad either.
It’s not spicy at all and I typically expect thai food to have a foundational spice level. The serving size was large which is a big plus – and the peanut sauce that came with the food was delicious.
