This is the highest rated restaurant (4.9) in Hinton, and it shows! We showed up for Sunday brunch after touring the area. All of the servers were lively and cheerful, and they were helping each other out as they worked. Ours was Sarah, who was perfect in every way – friendly, expeditious, and able to help us with some recommendations. I had the breakfast burrito (without the steak, but they added their house sausage) – it was super flavorful, well presented, and very filling! What stole the show, though, was the green salsa that was served on the side – superb! The other meal (at Sarah’s recommendation) was the breakfast sandwich (eggs, house pepper jam, goat cheese, local greens, and bacon). This sandwich was creamy, savory, and a little bit of sweet – with the addition of the crispy bacon strips, it was perfect. I highly recommend Lucky Rivers Cafe if you’re ever in Hinton!

This place made me want to sneak into the kitchen to see what kind of wizard they have back there. The quality of the food and flavors is top notch, and the dishes have a unique and elevated flair. We went twice in two days. A real hidden gem.

Sweet and cozy cafe in the historic town of Hinton. The service was great and the food, oh my goodness, was mindblowing. Mediterranean quesadilla was a unique experience. The summer baguette was so refreshing and tasty. Highly, highly recommend this place.

It’s my first visit to this cafe but it won’t be my last. Our server was friendly and made us feel right at home and recommended the breakfast sandwich because they were serving Sunday brunch. I’m so glad she did — it was delicious and really hit the spot. I’ll definitely be returning. They also have a nice beer selection but I failed to snap a picture of it.

My favorite place to eat anytime I visit Hinton. The food is wonderful, especially given the quality of ingredients and very reasonable prices. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I’ve been here a number of times, have tried most things on the menu and nothing has ever disappointed.

I LOVE Lucky Rivers! Locally sourced ingredients, delicious & creative dishes, great craft beer & wine selection, homemade desserts, and lovely service. I have loved every meal I’ve been served here but I especially love the surf & turf tacos with a side of miso coleslaw, the lucky turkey sandwich with pasta salad or the buddha belly bowl with roasted chicken. My husband can’t stop ordering the roast beef sandwich, everything is so good! Do yourself a favor and check out the specials board for fun new dishes and don’t skip the carrot cake! It is the best cake I’ve ever had.
My family gladly drives an hour to eat here regularly, best restaurant in WV! We are LUCKY to have Lucky Rivers in our community.

This is a charming little eclectic restaurant with a small but varied menu. I ordered the Budda bowl. It was terrific. The sweet potatoes were soft inside and just slightly crispy outside with terrific flavor. The candied pecans were also done perfectly with just the right amount of saltysweetness. The goat cheese was soft and flavorful. The server was so kind and friendly and checked on me just enough. Music was quiet to appreciate but not Inhibitive of conversation. Definite recommend

A must visit!
Our server was sweet and the food was incredible! I had the quesadilla with chips and verde salsa. The combination of ingredients and preparation was flawless.
I often order two meals at local restaurants. I learned that didn’t need to do that here but I’m glad I did anyway because wow the food was great.
So I also had the quiche “one of the days specials” and it had to be the best on planet earth. The consistency of the egg was simply perfection.
I’ll plan to eat there any time I’m around the area.

Truly one of the best tacos I have ever eaten, and I have been to Mexico, Belize, Ecuador and other Latin American Countries.
I was skeptical to see the near perfect rating on google, but decided to try as a stop on my trip to New River Gorge National Park. I ordered the surf and turf tacos, and they were truly the most amazing a delicious tacos I have ever eaten- and for the price point of 14$, I was baffled. I would have easily payed 23+ for those tacos (and inadvertently did by leaving a good tip for the amazing service they gave as well). Truly more tastier than “fine-dining” and fills you up too with one serving.
Thank you to the amazing staff, food and service. It was truly worth the stop and I urge and plead with everyone to come try this place out- heck, run if you have to before they realize their food is too good and up their prices

Excellent homemade fresh food made with love and care. We ordered from their brunch menu (avocado toast, breakfast burrito, 3 cheese quiche, pancakes) and everyone loved their food.
