IYKYK This little unassuming place on State rd has some of if not the best pierogies in the city! Plenty of different kinds but all authentic, no gyro or buffalo pierogies here. The staff is friendly, amazing and knowledgeable. I usually stop once a month to “re-up” on my potato, cheese and Jalapeño rogies. Also other favorites like kielbasa and pastries. You can also grab a quick plate for lunch and be on your way. I was gonna say “Not your Grandmas pierogies” but they kinda are in the best way!! Stop in and say “Hi” and get a taste of Cleveland!

Purchased 2 dozen sweet cheese pierogi Togo. Found the filling ample and tasty.
The dough was slightly on the dense side compared to what we are used to eating.

Sadly, not like my babcia’s pierogi. I had high hopes but was generally disappointed in the pierogi. The dough was thicker than I prefer and the sweet cheese was very sweet. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if they had any made with farmer’s cheese and that was what he recommended. Nope- not it. We did enjoy the potatoe, cheddar and jalapeno ones though and the Hungarian kielbasa was tasty.

Very good! We got the classic potato cheddar and potato saurkraut. We boiled them and then sautéed them in oil. They were so good! There is nothing like freshly m a de pierogies.

One of the best pierogi spots in town! The staff are very kind and helpful. Anytime I’m in town I plan to stop here! The pierogis, kielbasa, and pastries are absolutely delicious!

Picked up 2 dozen frozen pierogies to take home. They looked flat and underfilled…I figured it may have been from being frozen. Unfortunately not the case. When properly cooked they were all like fat dough pockets with very little filling. I’ve been getting pirogies here for years. There is a definite issue. Are they under new management??

Pierogis, stuffed cabbage, and sausages are awesome! Recommend getting a bucket of fried pierogis with the Hungarian kielbasa to eat on the road, but don’t forget a few dozen pierogis to go along with Hungarian and Slovenian sausages for later! Kolaches were great too!

Used Perla’s for a catering order of fried pierogies and chicken schnitzel. They were very helpful and quick in getting back to me about pricing when calling to inquire and the food was delicious! We had so many compliments on the taste of the food and I was impressed with the affordability as well! Would definitely order from them again!

I love their vegetarian cabbage rolls. I always place order ahead of time. I don’t think they are a regular menu item. Absolutely delicious!!
Also, great friendly service.
