Very good local restaurant. Homestyle cooking,nothing fancy, but flavorful. Breakfast is one of my favorites, and served all day. Shortened hours due to covid.

Service was excellent.
Omelets and chicken legs were good. Gravy was just ok. Hash browns and cornbread were sitting around too long before serving. Both were hard and dried out. They fixed me hash browns for us, but they were undercooked. They did take the hash browns off the bill, though.
The place really needs updating and maintenance. Giant hole in the bottom of the door to the ladies room. Last paint job was probably at least 50 years ago.

One of a kind restaurant been a staple of Caruthersville for 73 years and going…yes it’s a round building. Pam and her crew make the most amazing homecooked meals. Daily lunch specials at a great affordable price. Pam’s bread pudding is my absolute fav. Her sauce is not rum not vanilla but her own special recipe and the only one I crave. You can get it on fridays. You can thank me later!

Stopped for breakfast while driving back to St Louis. The food was great and the prices were unbelievable. No where else to get 2 eggs, bacon plus biscuits and gravy for $4.99. Wait staff and locals eating Sunday breakfast were all very friendly. Was very busy while I was here so had to wait my turn to have mine cooked but I enjoyed the extra time to drink coffee and check out the old photos on the wall. Very glad I took the extra few minutes to get off the interstate and would recommend anyone to do the same if they would enjoy an old country diner.

Growing up, I always loved going to The Round House to eat. Even after some many years it’s still amazing. My last time dining here wasn’t exactly under the happiest of circumstances but I still enjoyed my dining experience same as I always did in the past and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
