We ate here on Christmas Eve and I felt like I was literally in Italy. The food is amazing, classic Italian, very fresh and cooked to perfection. The garden was a lovely touch and the staff were attentive and looked after us very well. We shared the bruschetta to start, I had spaghetti du mare and my husband had the ribs. Both were devine! Pasta made in house and the ribs melted in your mouth. We ended with classic tiramisu and shared a bottle of Sicilian wine. Squisito!

Beautiful authentic Italian restaurant in La Paz. I came twice during my time here and first had the pasta with salmon and tuna then came back for the tiramisu and a salad. Everything was super delicious and fresh. Also everyone is so friendly my waiter was Ulises and got to say hello to the owner Alessandro. Gorgeous ambience with a relaxing garden and sea breeze. I’ll definitely be back. Muchas gracias. Grazie mille.

Best Italian food! We were a group of 4 (2 who were born in Italy) and we all agreed the food was absolutely top notch. The portions are very generous and the taste was incredible. Recommend the back ribs, the pasta of the day and the pollo in white wine.

From the start, the hospitality stood out—the chef brought out the starters and introduced himself, which set the tone right away. The food was the real star though: fresh bread, handmade lasagna, and every bite in between was dialed in. Cozy ambiance, attentive service, and the kind of experience that makes you want to plan your next visit before you’ve even left.

What a nice addition to the La Paz restaurant scene! Very tasty and authentic Italian. The Italian chef/owner was very present and attentive. Cost about 1,000 pesos each, including a shared bottle of wine. Great quality food, in a nice setting, and a reasonable price. Recommended!

There’s a sparkling new jewel in La Paz’s culinary crown – Trattoria Italiana La Paz! Wow! What a meal! We tried the green salad, gnocchi, carbonara, and a dessert of a chocolate/nut torte with vanilla ice cream. The meal was accompanied by a basket of fresh bread and some of the best crunchy breadsticks I’ve ever tasted. The chef hails from Naples, Italy, so this place is the genuine article. Service was warm and attentive. Very reasonable prices given the quality of the cuisine. Highly recommended!

We were two couples for diner. The food the service and the outdoor seating was excellent. A good wine selection. The owner / chef who is Italian came to our table twice to check up on us and he recommended our wine selection. I typically do not eat in Italian restaurants but his one is really worth it.

Wow, what a gem! We wanted to come back again and again to try everything on the menu. The pasta is so fresh and the flavors so enjoyable. The restaurant is in a home setting and the outdoor area is very cozy. We were particularly impressed with the young manager who was passionate, energetic, and knowledgeable. We will be recommending this place to everyone!

What a hidden gem! Had our favorite meal in La Paz at this place. The chef and staff were so kind and friendly and the food was very fresh and authentically Italian. We ordered the grilled vegetable salad as well as the amatriciana and the shrimp pasta- all so delicious. My only regret is that we did not discover this sooner!
