I’m Juanita from Odessa TX , this bakery was my childhood bakery in the 80s n my kids love this place to , well I’ve bearily started to go back , may be I have a month , every Friday I would get tamales from them , they said they stayed selling tamales at 8:00 am n they close the kitchen at 2:00, well this past Friday I came as usual to get my dozen of tamales, before 1:00 they said they sold out I thought it was kinda of unusual, but I said ok I’ll just come back tomorrow morning which was this Saturday ,so I came back Saturday morning at 9:00 they said they didn’t have any tamales cus they sold out , I thought that was strange that lady with the blonde her told me they sold out with her fake smile!!! I got weird vibes , bad vibes from this place n from her at that moment, how could they just sell out it’s a in one hour , I didn’t like that vibe ,I’m never going back that place again!!!!

After 6 years ago that we were last in here, there’s less bakery items! Why? Didn’t ask! Didn’t purchase anything! The economy? Next time!

I want to thank the owner. He went above and beyond to help our family out. Our family was planning a fundraiser for my nephew’s medical expenses, and we were going to sell food plates, and we needed bread, and he gave us such a big discount that helped our budget big time. Thank you so much. You were such a blessing. Also thanks to all his staff, they’re very kind and courteous. Our FundRaiser went very well, and we were able to help our nephew get closer to its financial goal. He’ll be getting his kidney transplant soon..

The lady that was helping me, she stopped scanning my items and answered the phone and attended the person that was on the phone, in another occasion there was this girl I had never seen her before, she was conversating with this other lady that was back in that room where they do the cooking and I was standing there I would say 5 ft away from them, ready for someone to help me, so I was just there staring at them while they were just standing there ignoring me? and talking, I felt like walking out! And leaving everything there on the counter? she finally came like about 3 minutes to the register to to help me. So this time I bought some sweet bread next day, it got hard? I usually keep it covered, it’s good for 3 day’s but this time I believe the bread was old when I bought, because usually when I buy my bread I cover it? and it will last? this time by the next day it got hard? So with all this I’ll just stop going there and find somewheres else to go!

Stopped in for some breakfast and was informed they only serve two types of burrito on Sunday, neither of which contain egg or potato. They refused to serve corn tortillas with their menudo, and instead gave me bread. I asked for the tortillas and they would not accommodate. The staff was rude and clearly had better things to do than provide service. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because their asado was decent.
