This san jose was a favorite-food great, salsa bar great, chips great, service good-would go at least once a week, but after today at lunch no more. Only 1 basket of chips(asked for a 2nd basket 6 different times, no one ever returned with a basket nor ever explain why no 2nd basket!! Salsa bar gone, but can order some for $4!! Food was average, sad the mgr and staff could not tell us a reason for no more chips AND avoided eye contact! Sad, hope they make all the extra dollars they desperately need after raising their prices even! Off my entires family list of places to go every week now!

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. So glad to have a good Mexican restaurant on our side of town. The service is great along with the food. The only downside is they don’t have my favorite option at Mexican restaurants. Steak Nachos. They have a supreme nachos option, but only with chicken, beef, or beans. Which just isn’t the same.

Manager, Delfino, runs a great place. Nice team of servers and the kitchen always serves up hot delicious Mexican dishes. The chori queso is a favorite. Plenty of free parking. THE CANTINA IS OPEN!!

Good customer service, and a great atmosphere very family friendly and fast service, great food and a dine in salsa bar always adds the extra spice to the experience! Definitely recommend y’all coming and trying this establishment out for yourselves!!

We are new to the area and have already eaten at San Jose twice. The service is friendly & the food comes out fresh & hot. The portion sizes are huge! We loved their homemade salsa, their margaritas & the Carne Asada. We will of course be back again!

Staff very friendly and attentive. They served spare ribs on their Carnitas dinner which I thought was odd. Seafood soup was decent but wouldn’t order it again. Salsa bar was stocked fairly well. Big Margaritas! Place looks much better after the remodel. Prices seem very fair. Try the Flan!

This was our first visit, great salsa. Quick service and our food came out super fast. We’re from El Paso, TX so it’s hard for us to find authentic Mexican food. This place was okay. I think had they taken some time to really put our food together better, it might have been better. But we had a big party so I’m sure they were just trying to serve us quickly.

Service initially good. Food served fast. No more checks by the waiter. I ordered Lunch #1 Chili Relleno. The salad looked good served with a green tomato, they forgot the sour cream that is usually served with a Mex themed salad. My taco was cold. The meat was cold. I got beans, I usually am asked if I prefer beans or rice. I don’t like the beans. The Relleno was mush and when I found the tiny piece of green pepper it was rancid as if it was cut a long time ago. I told the Mgr at check out and he could care less. I used to eat at San Jose’s on a regular basis 2-4 times per month. Now the prices are double and the food is worse. Never again. Taco Bell has better prices with better tasting food. What I brought home my dog would not even touch. He loves to eat but he wouldn’t give it a second look. ‘Nuff Said..
