Tried out this new mexican restaurant. Right off the bat they have false advertising. There is a sign showing that they have margaritas in the picture below. But they don’t even have their liquor license yet. Their menus were dirty with dry food stains and salsa stains on them. They did not notify us that there is an extra charge to pay with a credit card. It was around a $5 up charge. Their food was decent and the service was fine but there seems to be a language barrier there. It was hard to understand sometimes. Overall, they need to be more upfront with what they provide and charge. My advice make sure that you are paying for what you get.

Ordered carry out in the restaurant they said it would be ready in 5 minutes. Got home with the food which is only 3 blocks away and my beef enchiladas were cold and some sports were warm like it was microwaved. Just did not taste fresh and meat tasted bland.

Disappointed that they did not have margaritas. They need to remove their wooden sign about margaritas. FOOD — We ordered the taco and fajita salad and they were both very good. Service was very good. So that being said give it a try unless you are like me and love a margarita with good Mexican food!

This new Mexican restaurant in Perry that we just tried out was 1 of the worst tasting food and I have eaten at ALOT of Mexican restaurant’s before! Portions are way to much to eat! Every one we saw were carrying out left over food. They use Way to many green peppers in the food. I love Guacamole dip but this had to be the worst one I’ve ever eaten and I always order that every place I go! We were very very disappointed in the taste of the food! Service was some what good but she forgot to bring my Guacamole dip after all food was put out. I had to ask it. They did take it off of our bill… we will definitely not be returning! Very disappointed!

Clean, festive environment, very friendly & attentive staff and topped off with great food. So glad they’re open and learned they should have their liquor license soon to only up their game for a good place to eat.

We placed a to-go order. Everything was delicious, and exactly what we expected from this establishment. We have eaten at the Vandalia Valencia’s many times, and we’ve never been disappointed. We will definitely be back, and look forward to dining at the Perry location. It is a welcome addition to our small town.

I love Valencia’s! My family loves Valencia’s! Why? The food is delicious, EVERY TIME. The service is awesome EVERY TIME. Everyone is so friendly. I love the celebrations/specials they have. One night we were given complementary tequila shots for Cinco De Mayo with our orders. Another night they had live music. If you are in Vandalia, MO or Perry, MO you should check them out! You WILL NOT be disappointed!!
