Truly a wonderful gem. Know for their burritos and enchiladas the food was incredible. The service. And a couple tables have a peek view of the ocean. The windows were open and the atmosphere was perfect. Delicious. Worth stopping for and by the bot gardens and ocean.wr had a magical dinner. Fresh and delicious.

Stopped in for lunch for the first time and really enjoyed the food. We had the shrimp tacos, fish tacos, and the burrito bowl. The food was delicious, fair priced, and filling. We happen to come in just before a giant group of 30 people so the service was kinda non existent, but the food came really quickly and they were clearly super busy and didn’t have enough people so will be sure to come back and give it another go cause the food was great, the proteins were cooked perfect.

I was posting from Ne e Mexico and had dinner here with friends. This has to be one of the best restaurants I have dined at and I am picky and a “foodie” We went during peak hours on a Sunday, so it took a little while to get our food, as expected. But it was fantastic and hot and worth the short wait. You could tell the food is freshly cooked. The flan was fantastic, like I make it, with a hint of coffee flavor. Last thing, our waitress Cornia was a great waitress and all the staff stop by the table, if passing by, to see if you need anything. This is an unsolicited review. I highly recommend it.

Decent family restaurant nestled inside of a small shopping center. It’s been here a while and caters to the mostly non-Latinx diners. The food is pretty good. My toddler wanted grilled chicken but it was really dry. The queso fundido as a starter was a great size and came with 4 flour tortillas. We also enjoyed our meals but found the flavors to be a bit mild- my guess is they’re catering to the tastes of the neighborhood they’re in.

My friends and I stopped for lunch after a small hike around the area. We were extremely happy with the customer service and of course the food. It was delicious, super tasty and reasonable price. They currently have outdoor seating in the patio and it is super relaxing with the sound of the water fountain.

This is our first visit. It’s upstairs in a mall near PV high school with limited parking, and this area gets crowded after school. We tried the chicken taquitos (no other options) and found them delicious. We also had beef and shrimp fajitas, which were okay but not amazing. The salsa was a bit spicy and tasty. The margarita was nice too. However, I wouldn’t call this a true Mexican restaurant.

First time visiting Salsa Verdes and trust me, won’t be the last!!!
The restaurant is decorated is such bright and vibrant colors….so beautiful!
The staff was super friendly and on it the whole time! Didn’t hover but was there when we needed anything.
The chips and salsa to start off with were really good! The chips were not oily and the salsa was fresh and just the right amount of flavor.
We ordered the House Nachos to start off with and honestly if you combined it with a cup of tortilla soup or a side salad, that would be a perfect meal for 2.
The House Nachos are their awesome chips with black beans, cheese, chucks of soft chicken, a sauce on the bottom layer of chips and topped with a dollop of sour cream and a dollop of guacamole.
Not knowing the amount of House Nachos though, we ordered the chicken/steak fajitas and we were not disappointed with the homemade corn tortillas that accompanied the fajitas.
We ended up taking most of the fajita plate home as we were perfectly full.
We even ordered chips and salsa to go!!
I highly recommend this hidden gem in Palos Verdes!

Was chillin—like Dylan
the other day,
When a Kool Kat named Rafael came my way…
I was homeless—
Feelin’ like a dog dat’s boneless…
We chatted—
Then he was back at it.
I thought that was the whole story—till…
Chef Rafael came back again,
With a hot breakfast—
I’m talkin’:
Eggs
️ Peppers
Sausage
Potatoes
Pancakes
All made fresh, just for me.
The restaurant wasn’t even open,
But he cooked me a hot American breakfast
At six o’clock in the morning.
Breakfast of champs made by a TRUE CHAMP.
This man was cool—genuinely kind. Just wanted to give back.
Didn’t ask for a thing.
So I’m sending a massive…
SHOUUUT OUT to CHEF RAFAEL!!!
Doin his thang like it ain’t no thang.
(P.S.)
Gotta appreciate the wordplay, right?

Very good food and friendly service, but lost a star because they refused to even consider slight changes to the dishes we ordered.
I get not wanting to do combo enchiladas, I just wanted to try two kinds since it was our first time there, but refusing to ask the chefs if we could get refried beans rather than black beans on an entree, just seems unreasonable. I guess his response, which was that the chefs would ‘get mad at him’, explains it.
Definitely worth a return visit because the food was so good. The restaurant gets very loud when it’s full and the margarita was very watered down, but all in all, a good option in this area. Outside seating is available. Limited parking in front with more parking in the rear.

Good food takes time to prepare. The server brought us warm tortilla chips with a delicious fresh-made salsa, it had a slight kick (spicy). We ordered the lobster stuffed with blue crab and the beef medallions in peppercorn sauce. The meal was exquisite.Chef Rafael Solorzano stepped out of his busy kitchen to greet us and made two delicious desserts for us. Salsa Verdes is a must try place.
